Yeah maybe, probably not though. ANYWAYS I nominate Gilbert for “Best Fire Emblem Father”
The face of a man who would never do anything wrong as a parent. At all.
I mean, he lived.
Not in my run.
My intention isn’t for that to happen, but I can’t control a community with intent
I do post, tongue-in-cheek, but geniunely, even bad growth units, goofy mugs, and some of the most “mid” units in your army and their army need a day in the limelight; Do I want to use Oliver in Radiant Dawn? No Do I like him as a boss in Path of Radiance? No. But is he a prime specimen of beauty with impeccable taste who can blast you with Noseferatu and is a solid back up SS rank light wielder if Miccaih gets speed screwed and Rhys is your Staff-bot? Abso-friggin-lutely

Seth, for teaching me to always use Jagens and never bench them, doesnt matter the game.
Roger is an armor knight with Okay stats who joins after Draug, Wolf, and Sedgar (though the latter two are only relevant to him in FE11) which I think kinda speaks for itself, plus I don’t care for what FE12 did with his characterization, but I really like his design and how I originally interpreted his character when I first played FE11, so he’s one of my go-to armors and Reclass Set 2 boys when I play any of the three games he’s in. I just think he’s neat.
Also, Radd is aptly-named and I like using him, too. He has a great design and he’s like… Similar to units like Fir and Marisa in being a sword infantry growth unit who joins too early to be an Est but is still noticeably underleveled for when he joins. Actually, his growths are kinda bonkers in FE1, especially compared to Caesar’s mid-across-the-board spread in the same game.
Roshea has the dubious honor of being the least bad of FE1’s three backup cavs (himself, Vyland, and Matthis), and I really like his all-purple design. You rarely see cavaliers with single-color designs like that who aren’t either red or green and part of their game’s Cain/Abel pair… actually, Finn is the only other such cavalier I can think of, being all-blue. Anyways, I also really like his character and role in FE3/12.
I realize these three are all from the same games; I find Archanea has one of the highest concentrations of oft-forgotten fodder units who clearly just exist to step in if the early-joiners of their classes who the writers actually cared about die. There’s some funky little dudes in there, though; I definitely have a soft spot for many of them.
Leon. Despite being in a game where you can rewind time, his determination as a green unit to get himself killed is unshakable.
Adding my thoughts to this post;
FE7 Karla being the easiest-to-recruit, totally worth it swordmaster in a game where there were definitely no better sword options.
FE7 Renault, for having the coolest/most interesting supports in the game, despite being the single biggest let-down stat wise.
