I just got RPG Maker FES today, and I can’t play the game, I already know why.
I need an SD card to play the game though. Does anyone have the game or a Nintendo 3DS? If you do, what type SD card do you have?
I have looked it up but cannot find any help. I looked here because I think it’s my best bet.

I have the game as well and it works fine for me. Things run as they are supposed to.
I have a New Nintendo 2DS and use a 4GB micro SD card (one of those little black ones).

Make sure your SD card is 16GB or less, or in the case that it’s larger, format it as FAT32 with 32k or 64k clusters.

I recommend 32GB, which is helpful for storing homebrew.
