Long ago, there was a sage who’s daughter fell ill with a terrible ailment. Though he dedicated his life to seeking a cure, she perished before his efforts could prove successful. Although suffering tremendous loss, he redoubled his efforts- reasoning that his daughter could not be the only victim. Though he had to extend his lifespan to continue his search, in time, his attention turned to the Dragon’s power, as a potential lead.

Whatever trials this sage had to undergo are known to he and him alone, but as the princess of Aenranne was found suffering of the same illness, he had at long last found a cure. Arriving upon the doorstep of the king’s castle, he brought an elixir he promised would cure the heiress’s ailment- and a stone, warm to the touch, linked to the power of the dragons.

Thus was Princess Rienaele made one of the Dragon People. Only by accepting the power of the dragon had she survived past the age of but seven, and she has aged remarkably slowly in the thirty years since. Over time, she had displayed an aptitude in the field of Light magic, though yet lacks confidence in her blade skills- despite the insistence of her advisors and aides that her skill could match some of the greatest swordsmen they know.

This sage has ultimately left an impression on Rienaele, leaving her a studious and patient person, more than willing to ask questions. Though she looks young, the years have not left her without wisdom.
