Here is a random idea I had. So imagine a FE like game or srpg where you are a healer and it has 3 ending depending on actions in battle. You can recruit all enemies even bosses maybe boss would have dialogue you have to say the right thing.
Basically it would have a build in pacifist run that doesn’t require bug and exploits to do.
If you play fairly normal get a normal ending if you kill whole lot bad ending and best ending kill no one similar to Knight of Lodis but you cant recruit bosses in that game.

I guess there are patches for different endings? Still, the idea sounds interesting. Maybe not necesary to recruit every enemy, since that would just be odd. The bosses, on the other hand, sounds like it could work. Maybe some of them need special requirements to join, or bring the right unit to talk to them after the healer already talked them down.
You also have to take into account what motivates each boss. Why are they attacking? Are they bandits? Mercenaries? Or maybe a different faction in the conflict? Or a cult that oppose the healer’s church/temple? Some of them could be recruited by words, but others just seem difficult for them to change their minds.
