i don’t know.
look at this birt
oh thank god its not just me
for a moment, i considered making a joke reply. however, due to the very unfortunate nature of my dev cycle, i have decided to make a SERIOUS answer.
A hack will be soulless if you force yourself to make it. Something made because you “have to” will never feel authentic, due to it not being such. It doesn’t matter if its the best thing since sliced bread or the worst dogshit known to humanity, a hack will always have soul, as long as it is made with love and care.
That’s my answer.
doot out
Omg so true doot so true
Doot is so real for that
yes, feel free to take this as endorsement from me to just mess around with hacking tools. theres not many rules on what you can and cant do, so just do whatever, wether that be your dream hack or a stupid joke (like Marisa Emblem , by yours truly)
i thought you said “brit”
birb alert
hacks are soulless if I don’t like them and they’re good, and soulful if I like them and they’re bad. otherwise they’re just goodslop / badslop
A hack is soulless when the author didn’t put their soul into it, or their back into working on it.
When the author asks “What would be accepted by the largest number of people?” instead of “What would mean the most to a few?”.
When it feels like you’re imitating and regurgitating without innovating. Like all those hacks that think Kaizo Kaga bullshit is the only “right” way to design.
When it’s all/mostly AI.
Or if it has no Kelik like unit, like c’mon guys, that’s a mandatory character at this point.
so Devisio is the meaning of soul
I’m sure everyone thinks that they’re cool with their funny joke answers (that are funny), but here’s the objective truth:
Hacks that I’ve contributed to (either directly or indirectly) are soulful masterpieces.
All others are soulless, corporate think-tank drab that are in it for a quick paycheck; preying on the SRPG fan’s insatiable hunger for weeb-chess content.
have you contributed to tlp
Idk about this ru but I think every hack that has this man is automatically soulful and if you disagree then you’re simply blinded by the anti kaga saga mafia
What truly makes a hack soulless?
The lack of women in glasses.
This is the truest Fire Emblem statement I’ve ever seen. Finn is the most well written character in the franchise and his presence makes everything better.
I like you!
Do tell what is the project you are working on that brought you such enlightenment?
