I know there wont be any guides for this but since its been out for awhile now i was wondering if there would be someone nice enough to send me alittle guide on any secret things i could miss in a playthrough. I want to 100% it.

Also didn’t notice when a new character wasn’t actually recruited, though I wasn’t planning on using them

ayyyy Ruben! I just realised: there is now Magic animations for the Marshalls in the Repository!!!

U considering using those to be ur generals?

Oh yeah, Nuramon did make some magic anims for one of the marshalls. Too bad it’s not the one I used for Sandraudiga, or I could’ve replaced my crappy edit. The one that has proper magical animations now is too Black Knighty for my tastes.

I do think the generals are all right the way they are, though. Those marshall anims are a step above, they should be used for especially powerful classes. Like Sandraudiga’s!

honestly? fair enough!

it would make very good foreshadowing that Generals are the best class in this ROM tho XD

That and they have the most obvious sign of power: THEY FACE THE SCREEN

As for secrets (that aren’t locked to a second playthrough):

Secrets (some spoilers; spoiler blurring doesn’t work in these dropdowns)

The playable bandits have a triangle attack with each other.

Pheme can use Kyra’s prf.

Pluto can use shamshirs if promoted to Mamluk.

Plato’s (not to be confused with Pluto’s) level is not capped at 20, and he’s the only unit to learn skills via level up. IIRC, the skills he learns are Aptitude at lv. 17 and Astra at lv. 22.

If you don’t recruit Eupraxia by visiting the village in the Mopsus map, you can recruit her much later in the game in a different class. I would not recommend doing this in your first run, though, as you’ll miss out on some of Eupraxia’s dialogue during the chapters she’s not with you.

Temples give you rewards when you visit them. Visiting all four over the course of the game gives you an additional reward.

A village in the second snow map has special dialogue for if Raleigh visits it. This dialogue does not result in a different reward.

A village in the Aura map (the one where Laertes joins) won’t give a reward if Kyra (or Glaucus?) visits it. It won’t close, though, so you can just have another unit visit it afterwards.

Scymerius and the playable prepromoted assassin have backstories that are revealed via boss conversations with Alastor and his lieutenants.

A house in the siege map has special dialogue for if a member of Agari’s group visits it (IIRC). This dialogue does not result in a different reward.

Bargain units can negotiate a lower price for the burning arrows in the siege map.

Glaucus can recruit Jason for a lower price than normal.

Glaucus has an interaction if you bring him near the arena in the first map with an arena in it.

When presented with a choice for Glaucus, I would personally recommend granting his request.

Orlaith has special dialogue for talking to the child in Ch. 20 and for delivering the child to their house. If she’s the one to deliver the child to their house, she gets +1 LCK.

Jingyi also has special dialogue for delivering the child to their house in Ch. 20, but doesn’t get any special rewards from it.

Hestia has a battle conversation with an unmarked generic Paladin on the right side of the map where you fight the Hierophant.

Tiresias receives upgraded prfs if you get his rank up to certain thresholds. The upgrade he gets at A rank depends on which class he’s been promoted to.

I originally thought getting boots on 0% growths wasn’t possible, but turns out the key was unironically using Lopez to warp the normal rock back into the convoy LOL

This was exactly what I was looking for! Thank you so much! My FOMO gets the better of me and I don’t have a lot of time anymore to replay games over and over as much as I’d like to.

Hello everyone, first of all i would like to express my thanks to everyone who had a hand in creating this game, it is amazing to play through in both gameplay and narration.
I also wanted to report something that may be a known issue, but i couldn’t see in the readme file;
When Kyra talks to Demeter in the last camp scenario, she gets a +1 in all stats, but if any stat is capped it goes above the cap and then on levelup will decrease back to cap.
The other thing, i was a bit puzzled about the arrow tile near the house in chapter 19.
Couldn’t really figure what it was for…

The Kyra cap thing is known. Laertes can do it too.

The arrow might be a thief escape tile?

Ooooh right, i forgot there were even thieves on the map because i managed to kill them almost instantly
Thank you, i was legit going crazy over this haha

I’m honestly curious why the thieves in Chapter 19 have so much effort putting into making them easy to intercept. Highlighting the escape tile on the map, making them only level 5 when every other enemy is either level 20 unpromoted or levels 4 to 6 promoted, and putting the village Coronis is recruited at right next to the escape tile. The way it’s set up, I was almost overthinking things and assumed you were supposed to let them live to get a different reward than their droppable stat boosters. Because if you want to stop them, it’s really really easy to just put Teresa or Nicaea on 16:6 or 16:7 and make it impossible for them to run. Are they even programmed to sack Coronis’s village if the way is blocked?

Tbh the intended design is pretty much get flier to coronis village and use her to kill everything in that area (which also includes the thieves). You say they are ‘easy’ to intercept but not doing it the intended way means you have to go through the main area where all the enemies are (to break the snag and kill the thieves from behind) which has the side effect of pulling all the enemies there and potentially overwhelming you.

Whichever flier you send to coronis will also have to double back to guard hippalus in a few turns since reinforcements spawn near him, so you’re incentivised to have a flier up in that area anyway

I mean, you’re already going to be pushing through to where the bulk of enemies are in order to recruit Plato, who should intercept your units at the same time you catch up to the thieves. And now that I know there’s an actual incentive for making Pluto a Mamluk instead of a Sniper, that’s easier than I even thought.

I’ve found it pretty difficult to catch up to the thieves in runs where I’m not using the fliers (and I don’t really like using the fliers that much). To the point that I usually have to blow a siege tome use to get the last one.

Is there any incentive to getting the Brave Lance in Chapter 15 via dialogue as opposed to boss fight? Because the latter just feels like the more rewarding option in experience and with the unique dialogue of having Ofelia fight the Lady of the Lake, despite her “pick the right answer next time” death quote.
