Well, I believe this is good enough. Not spectacular, but good enough. I kind of rushed this one out as I have more hack deadlines to meet. It’s in releasable condition, so hey. This last push took two days, which is a day more than I’d have liked. But hey, it is what it is. Lethal Company meets Fire Emblem, with way too many other series thrown into the mix. If L’Arrangement happens, this chapter’s the opener. Probably a bit too hard for a Chapter 1, to say the least…
The main improvement is that the map is no longer an abomination, thanks to ZeroXA on the LT discord. Aside from that, it’s mostly various pieces of polish, such as giving everyone a portrait or adding a cutscene map for half of the opening. The chapter difficulty has also been reduced, though it’s still fairly high. Mario no longer gets siege-lunge-chained minute 1, at least, as Lunge has been removed off the siege old birds. If this was a submission for my own contest, I’d probably give this a 4 or so in gameplay, maybe? But people are their own worst critics. Enough rambling from me, have some screenshots!

I procrastinated working on Chapter 8x (featuring Weezer) until the last possible day, but spent 6-8 hours today blitzing it (while learning how to use LT Editor) and submitted it to SigmaRaven on Discord a few hours ago. I had to cut some content due to not having enough time to implement it (Jack Black is sadly not able to stop time using [ELMO’S WORLD] in the final version), but I’m reasonably proud of what I managed to put together.

OK, submissions are done. I’ll have everything reviewed for the first time at least by end of January, and thereafter everyone has until Valentine’s Day to make any updates they want for their one resubmission.
