Fire Emblem Fates PMU – Create Your Own Custom Unit!

is that hair trans-colored on purpose? If so, *charmy bee voice* EXCELLENT! EXCELLENT!

… if I had the willingness to pick up my art skills again I’d draw her holding a gun w/ the caption “TRANS RIGHTS ARE HUMAN RIGHTS” and submit it to the meme folder. I can’t use the meme stock image of the hand holding a gun pointing at the camera b/c I don’t want to point guns at people.

Maybe the “I’m a healer, but…” image.

Now, if only we had custom weapons as well, it’d be real funny to give her a gun
1-3 range, 22 mt, 200% crit ;p

Submitted in the Hinata and Oboro replacements!

My Job here is done.

I’d like to have Starscream’s stat cap modifiers as follows: -3 Res, -1 Def, +3 SPD, +1 Str, +1 Mag

Is there anything special that’s to be done for child unit growths, or should they be built the same as gen 1 units?

Do you want me to do the long explanation or the short? Meh I’ll do long so you can read it when ya wake.

Gen 2 units aka the children units are different as they will have growths and everything however they will only have their base class as their reclass options are based off their parents while also the parents stat caps are added together plus child bonus(only one who can lose this is kana if corrin gets with a gen 2), the child units growths in game are (child growths+Mother growths) /2 then add class growths. Their bases will be what you put but they will also inherit abit from their parents, you also have their skill inherance from both parents including their own skills. An example is Jade she has troubadour and the reason why she has ninja as a reclass is cuz she is the child of Sig who’s class is ninja so he passed down ninja to Jade. Another example for the growths part is Rito lets say his mom is Cherry, Rito has a speed growth of 70% and cherry has 0. (70+0)/2 = 35 then after that we add archer’s speed growth 35+15 = 50 so Rito’s speed growth if his mom is Cherry is 35% and in archer it becomes 50%.

I was wondering, isn’t the formula for the Growths different with certain units (Female Corrin & Azura) with the formula being (child Growths + Father’s growths) /2?

Nope its based off the mothers in fates and the fathers in awakening.

Huh, I always thought both Female Corrin and Azura’s children inherited the Father’s Growths, every site I checked for said that, but I guess not xD

Dont take what i say fully as i havent confunced with code but that’s the general rule fates and awakening uses.

Growth rate inheritance is based on the non-canon parent
For Shigure that’s whoever Azura married
For M!Kana that’s whoever F!Corrin married
For everyone else that’s the mother

Ya im just happy I didnt make the Kana or Shigure I did not feel like doing kana cuz their a mess on their own to do having to calculate every corrin build possible.

Then the Shigure replacement can have a more reliable defense growth with a good parent :D, if Mistika had to give her Growths to a Knight that would have been bad xD

More of she needs a father with decent bulk that has good luck so long as the father doesnt have trash defense growths(which is rare) she’ll be fine.

A good pairing is actually Garran and Mistika as they both help the others child pretty well Virelle would have bad defenses but that be the only drawback kinda not one as Virelle has ways around her bad defenses being generally hard to hit.

yes I was asleep, good catch. I was wondering if those bases/growths had a different cap for child unit submissions

So just to confirm

Replacement units are made by essentially editing the original units’ parameters, such as classes, skills, bases, growths, or gender

So their support options remain the same, only that it checks the replacements units’ genders for whether they produce a child (and maybe friendship?)

Does that mean that growth inheritance is based on who the original units were? For example, my Ryoma replacement is female, but Ryoma is the canon parent of Shiro. In Vanilla, Shiro’s growths are impacted by whoever Ryoma marries. That means the Shiro replacement will have growths affected by her father?

No it will be by her im pretty sure for the normal child units the mother’s growths effect.

Could i actually see them in a message to help?
