I finally got around to finishing this game, completing the last chapter just in time for Halloween. I’ve got to say that this was probably one of the best romhacks I’ve ever played. From storytelling to presentation, everything was really good and I would even compare its quality to an official release. That said, it was truly depressing watching Lyon’s fall from grace as he became just as much of a monster as Fomortiis himself.
Also,
RIP Glen and Caellach. They both were very in character during my run as Glen leveled pretty poorly and thus performed at the level you would expect from a man so disillusioned with the world and his own prince. Caellach on the other hand performed really well befitting his desperate climb for power. It was sad to see them go after everything but also really cool to fight them as bosses in the end.

It doesnt actually matter(that ive tested), since they level to “1” after, actually good for them since its its another level for them but weird

Hey I have some quick questions here I’m thinking, would be thankful if you could answer them
1.Is Orson a game over condition in 5x?(Also do the units that died during 5x get revived later?)
2.Does Aias get Falcoknight promo gain(same way as Rennac promote to assassin) when he talks to Lieselott?

- No idea (I keep everyone alive)
- In the Aias/Lieselott talk, you can choose between automatic Falcoknight promotion or a speed boost (the talk is only available if you did their previous conversations) - no special promotion item (otherwise Falcoknight Murray/Orson would exist)

The only game over condition in 5x is Tirado. The rest stay dead if they die there.

Pretty sure you still get Falcoknight’s promo bonuses, (since Aias Falcoknight is the same class it would affect Pegasus Knights if promo bonuses were removed) though it’s been a fair few versions since I played.
You’d probably want to promote Aias beforehand for extra stats anyway.

I am now really confused with some saying he doesn’t get the promo gain and the others saying he does get the promo gain are we even playing the same rom hack now

Bit late but some details on how the Aias FK promo works:
Aias
It just reclasses his class to Falcoknight, resets his level and EXP and he gets +2 in HP/STR/SKL/SPD/DEF/RES + loses his axe rank if he went GK. It’s actually a slightly better version of the normal FK promo (you get 1 extra point of defense), though I guess the promotion is probably done this way because otherwise Aias retains axes if he promoted into GK (you have to hardcode the promotion to remove axe ranks like Woodcutter > Archer and Pupil > Monk)
If you want to stack two sets of promo bonuses (promoting Aias to Paladin or GK first) you absolutely can.
Rennac’s promotion is handled differently (it’s just a regular use item to promote from level 10 onwards deal) so it’s not exactly the same.
Fwiw the deathgoyle you ‘recruit’ later in the game works in a similar way with regards to their forced class change (except their stats will also get floored upwards, so 0 strength gets floored to 13 and then a +2 is applied to it).
Anyway some other stuff: 0% growths is being re-done mostly because 1) I want to use the new stuff and 2) I intend to beat Lagdou. Latest update is at Taizel and yeah uh
