Nope. With the amount of tanky units, armor knight feels entirely redundant in the early game.
But having 2 archers and 1 promoted nomad with 1 or 2 chapter difference in the early game isnāt redundant,ok
Itās not normal, but I was never able to identify the cause. Someone told me it was related to the gameās memory, in which case there is nothing I can do D: ā¦
But donāt worry, it will not break your game.
Iām on chapter 17, and Iām worried about Mjoll. Iāve fielded her every chapter since she joined, but I canāt seem to find anyone she supports with. If I donāt get one now, she wonāt re-join. The rest of my characters arenāt full, any ideas for how to give her one?
Crisis intensifies
Okay, so if youāve been fielding Crescent a lot then she and Mjoll should have already a high amount of support points. Try getting them to have support. Otherwise, go for Cyan or Isaac, whichever you have been fielding more.
All three have the same support rate, so itās up to your preference.
Are those the only ones she can get? I havenāt been using any of those units.
Up to that point in the game, she can only get support with those three. There are two other people she can gain support with but they are only available after she rejoins.
At least she will send her items to supply before permanently leavingā¦
Well as fun as she was, I already had her down the same line as Hermes, and Iām sure there are plenty more good units to field. Iāll be alright, thanks for the info.
Supports are by-map Tellius-style, not āpark-units-next-to-each-other-for-80-turnsā GBA-style, correct?
Itās the second one, but there are several changes:
1: The range for acquiring support is considerably larger (3 tiles). Therefore it takes much less time than usual.
2: The āOnly 5 supportsā limit was removed. The only restriction is that you can have only one A-support per unit (With some exceptions).
3: You can check support-able characters at any time by pressing L on the chapter objective screen.
So itās not nearly as bad as trying to get an A-support for Seth and Eirika only to realize it practically took your whole playthrough .-.
I assumed it was an illusion created by the cowardly archer who is the actual commander of that level.
Post-timeskip spoilers
A little sad we didnāt get Josephine back right away, hope sheās alright.
Post timeskip spoilers
Donāt worry, sheās more than alright.
Sheās badass now.
Wait⦠so Wyvern Knights lose axes upon promoting? Whatās the point then? They donāt even gain dark :((
In Hermesā particular case, he still keeps the ability to wield axes.

Version 1.2 is now here, and the not-very-long-awaited ranking system! A more detailed changelog is as follows:

- āDaunt Axeā is now a trophy weapon.
- The basic Wind tome now deals x4 might against fliers.
- Some pieces of dialogue were rewritten, and some typos fixed.
- A small glitch involving stores at CH27 has been fixed.
- And more!
As always, thank you for playing Fire Emblem: Code of the Black Knights!
Hereās a link to the update (Also available in the first post)
What are Trophy Weapons?
Obligatory question lol⦠is it save file compatible? If not just means Iāll have to save it for my iron man run after I enjoy normal mode lol.
Trophy weapons are low-durability weapons that can only be obtained by S-ranking certain chapters. They are usually associated with that chapterās boss.
