Done! did exactly what you said re: just removing the character palette so it wasn’t conflicting. Really helpful, I didn’t know that got priority over and would mess up the animation custom palette.

This was my first question posting, and this community couldn’t have been more helpful

@Klokinator Ah, wait sorry one more question. Realizing as I’m implementing that Lyn has that base lord class for the test
so there’s no conflict? when I put this animation in for the Assassin class (and erase Matthew’s character palette) will Jaffar’s Assassin animation also be overwritten?

All of the assassins will have that same Matthew animation yes, but they will have a different palette.

It’s good of you to put together a more recent tutorial video list. Make sure to playlist it for people to follow in steps if you haven’t already. Something I find a hassle and maybe others do as well is the FE8 overworld map stuff. That could probably use one. Connecting roads and defining things as at start or before/after selection, etc.

Got it. The tutorials should be sorted in the order of release dates, but I’ll take another look at the order of episodes.

That is kind of simple. Either you can replace the vanilla animation with one from the repository or make a new class that solely uses that animation. That’s what I can think of at the moment.
