Thanks for playing and giving feedback Krash! Actually that ability to escape early (before rescuing the prince) was something I can’t really stop but now that I’m thinking about… maybe moving them behind where each Rider starts would really decrease the chance you would escape by accident. I don’t know why I didn’t think about that at the time…
Thanks for letting me know about that white dragon. I tested those animations pretty thoroughly but I guess they weren’t perfect. Jade actually just released a tool that should fix all the animations so I’ll replace his with a new set.
Ch1: I usually use the ‘auto level-up’ for enemies but it seems like this can cause too much variance. I’ll have to look into maybe doing some manual adjustment to their stats(which was just made easier last month!)
Ch2: I think that is a solid idea for sure. GBA games do use those text boxes well but I don’t we can do it that way. I think moving the Anna talk to the beginning and have her explain that you need to Rescue Iven would be a good idea.
Ch3: I’d agree with your assessment on this chapter. When I made this one map editing was extremely tedious so I only just added the house in the center. I think reworking all the things you said is in order.
Ch4: Yeah… I still haven’t figured out how to give convoy access. You’d think it would be simple right? It can be frustrating for sure, especially when it’s a surprise that it’s not there and there’s a lot of items on a map. Hopefully me or someone else figures it out before the full release.
Ch5: I actually never thought about using the sleep staff on her… I know it sounds unbelievable but there were a lot of moving parts in the chapter and I missed it lol. I’ll remove it since it does make it trivial at that point.
Units: I really do want to put more work into making the foot units stand out by giving them personal skills and the like. Thank you for your thoughts.
I’ve been working on Ch. 6 and have finally done the portrait for Misaha so I’ll definitely be removing it. Thank you for taking the time to write this up!
