Huge story add on in the spoilers if you’re all interested, it’ll give you the full idea envisioned for this hack, but for clarification don’t read it unless you don’t mind spoilers.
A lot of the dialogue at the end of chapter 1 when you meet with king Hayden has massive plot points in it, don’t skip it! Also a lot of lore is included in game with descriptions of certain items and enemies, so make sure to check everything with that R button!
add red gleaming eyes to your demon warriors .. for aura .. there might be free sprite for that ..
Chapter 2: At this point we already understand that demons overrunning the army, and i think it should be told through a cutscene not during the gameplay as it makes it a bit tedious and unnecessarily long
Chapter 3: i don’t know how to make Ross survive as the pirate two rounds him no matter what and Garcia always targets the soldier, it took me about few rests to get a good rng to make Ross survive another problem i faced was Garcia running too deep into enemy making it a hard time to recruit him

I fixed the issues with ross and garcia, but i plan to keep the chapter 1 an escape through a battle still.
He makes Nergal, Lyon, Idunn, and the Fire Dragon look weak lol
Update 1.4 fixes various bugs, enemy placements, new portraits for almost every character both player and non player, MANY item rebalances, and finally all item descriptions completed!
Beginning work on the next maps now!

I am currently looking for a person or two to help me on this if anyone is interested. The story is 90% done but that 10% is fully open to new ideas if someone is wanting to join in on the story, otherwise I really just need some dedicated help further implementing some of the more complex mechanics and features as well as implementing the writing/dialogue, I’ve already got it all in mind, just putting into the game correctly is a struggle for me. Also I’m looking for someone willing to do sprite work for some portraits, the extent of my ability is the couple I’ve made with slight modifications and recolors to make a bunch of placeholders. I’ve also made around 200 custom item icons, I believe they’re all replaced except the spell tomes because honestly I’m alright with them and I found it’s hard for me to redesign them since they have a lot less room to work with already because of the edges of the book taking up mandatory space. I’m rambling.
TLDR: Looking for 1 or 2 people to help me on developing this hack. Message here or discord if interested!
Excellent project; I really liked everything I read and am eager to play it. However, I have a question: the current patch is 1.3—meaning it’s past version 1.0—so does that mean the story is playable from start to finish? I ask because the project is still tagged as WIP. If the story isn’t complete yet, I might wait for the full version to be released.

No it isn’t finished, it’s like Beta 1.4 I guess would be accurate. Maybe I should change it to v0.4?

New update 0.7, added all changes in patch updates. Looking for more feedback. Prologue and chapters 1-4 are finished, chapter 5 map finished and inserted but level not completed, start it up if you wanna see the level design. Let me know what you think!
Update 0.8 Another big update! First off, fixes a bunch of incorrect palettes from the new class animations as well as a bug that prevented Eirika from talking to ross and subsequently not being able to recruit Garcia. A few map treasures reworked/replaced as well as the final completion of chapter 5 map!
Also added a bunch of updated screenshots!

Hello, I would like to state that I have, at the request of Camdar, removed a potentially upsetting conversation/scene in the beginning of Chapter 1. I apologize if this scene offended anyone, it was meant purely for shock value in a “Wow, that really just happened?” kind of way, and not at all to offend, trigger or emotionally upset anyone beyond the grasp of simply reading something disturbing in the story. Again, I apologize if this did offend anyone, and ask that you forgive that and give it another chance since the new change. For clarification it was only a 1 time occurrence in the game anyway, but regardless it is now changed in the latest patch, so please disregard any previous patches before the 10/07/2026 patch if you still have them. Thank you and I hope you decide to look past that previous issue and enjoy the work I’ve done so far. I’ve been pouring my heart and soul into it, and basically any free minute I have, I’ve been spending working on this, even if it’s just something as small as a stat tweak on a sword, a stat adjustment or enemy positioning, I am constantly thinking of ways to try and improve it. My progress is unfortunately slow as I’m the only person working on it and my skill level is still relatively low. Regardless, slowly but surely I will have a finished full length hack one day, and I hope you’re all here with me to enjoy it!
