I decided to be kind and fix the portrait for you (if you don’t mind, that is). It was done since I wanted to see where were the extra colors.
Turns out he had 3 more skin tones in the neck area, and (hilariously enough) one single gray pixel that was a different color from the darkest white tone. Eliminating those colors reduces his color palette to just 13 now. I also recoloured his hair/cape tones a bit to look better. It’s not much imo, but it’s still pretty nice to do. No credit needed btw.
P.s it’s impressive to see how a bit of color correction can make or break a character’s hair color.

I regret nothing, I was gonna to do The King of the realm we cannot say, but there was no sprite for them to my knowledge, so I chose a substation.
Gonna be honest bit disappointed, I was not able to get Dussel, but after seeing The Nekomaru Nidai replace him, I couldn’t be happier. So ya great choice.
