[FE8] The Dream Spirit (Four Kings sequel), THIRD DUNGEON DONE, NEW PATCH OUT 1/16/26!

That was what was tripping me up. I didn’t realize you could move the other characters. My bad.

Made a map, the abandoned fortress on the island of Alfarro where Regis and company will be heading. A sort of mini-dungeon while Lionel heads off to the island’s actual dungeon. I think the balcony inside looks pretty neat.

And here’s the introduction to this area! Hellen and Quinton return as playable characters, with some fancy tricks up their sleeves. Hellen is more support-oriented, focusing on staves. While Quinton has his personal summon, Caldri, as well as unique coffee items to buff himself. Check them out in this large fight!

Regis’s expedition into this old fortress has been completed (featuring some block pushing puzzles, as all good RPGs have). Since Regis is the player character here, I wrote the little environmental inspection lines with some of his personality, which was pretty fun. Next up, we’re going back to Lionel as he heads towards our next major dungeon. Stay tuned!

I just started Four Kings. It’s looking like I’m set on FE for a while knowing I have two fantastic games to play ahead of me

A new area means a new enemy type! Lionel and the gang encounter a magical metallic, the Sentinel class. Meant to be the enemy equivalent of Regis, they’ll hit hard with magic, so watch out. This magic anim by Ultrax is perfect for a magic robot!

Lionel’s section of exploring the island is done, with a few battles and some townspeople to interact with. Next up, it’s dungeon time! It’s gonna get breezy in here!

A new class is done: the Pulsar! Like the sentinel, I needed some kind of magic class for Metallics that made sense, in this case a healing class. So I made this by hand (being a stationary object, it’s easy enough for me to animate), and I’m happy with how it came out!

A funny little encounter.

Also introducing a couple new items. The Giant weapon class (extremely strong and heavy), and stat boosters. Technically you can already get a permanent stat booster rarely from Quinton’s summons, but this is the first standard one. Every booster will have both a positive boost and a downside, so use them wisely!
