I do have a bit of a silly idea for that, set your ‘Eirika’ team to green units after the map starts (Just after battle preps, turn whatever unit is in the starting spaces green so you don’t need to specify), do battle preparations again, this time for ‘Ephraim’s’ team, then after that battle preparations turn ‘Eirika’s’ team blue again.
It’s worth a shot. I’ll try it.
Didnt gojunior have a special promo, i remember suggesting it because i hate sand
I believe I fixed it in the most recent patch. Special Grade exists, just completely forgot to make it a promotion for Gojunior.
I believe I buffed them in the recent patch (+5 to all stats). The Extreme mode bonuses only apply to enemies, hence why their stats are so terrible.
The moonlight bangle has a wrong description, and you get a 2nd gleipnir and garm after scorched sand
Tested it. It’s sadly a pipe dream. FE8 only allows for one set of battle preparation coordinates. Everything works until Sentia’s battle preps, which are at the same spot as Soleil’s.
One idea I do think has some potential is the “load reinforcements” event. Issue is it seems to be spitting units out outside the map somewhere. I’ll have to play around with it to see if it can produce results.
Perhaps the battle preparation’s spot could just be where the second team pops up, when making the first team green you also move them from the second team’s area to where they should be. Something like that anyway.
Worth a shot, definitely.
It’s a bit late for me today but within a day I’ll see if I can put this pesky chapter to rest.
The Seraph knights (Magic pegasus) have access to staves already.
But the only unit that has that class already has Staff savant as a personal skill.
Tossed it together to test, seems to work well enough. Neat.

now i’ll need to find an excuse to use this for a chapter.
To add to this:
Pagasi (this also applies to the staff pegasus): Pass and tower shield (Towershield+ is too much).
Falcon knights: tomebreaker (instead of staff savant) and Galeforce
Seraph knight: Breath of life and powerstaff
Monks: Miracle and Shade
Bishops: Slayer (same in canon) and Live to serve
Priest: Voice of peace and Blessing
Ranger: Outdoor fighter and forager
Bow knight: Elbow room and Resourcefulness
The big one
All “Lord” units (Knight Lord, Brave Lord, Holy Knight, Huntress) would get only the Rightful lord skill upon promo and that’s it.
Slayer is a class skill so you can give it another lvl 1 skill because Bishops get slayer natrually so they can get another skill

Chaos style: “If unit initiates combat with a physical attack against a foe armed with magic or vice versa, grants Spd+3 during combat.”
From Engage
Its almost like the aware skill where a nomadic trooper would swap weapons(if possible) to make sure it can counter attack
Yeah and I feel that’s enough?
What I meant was, they won’t need to get the lvl 1 skill upon promoting. Since slayer is already there naturally and that’s a fine enough skill.
Buuuut im not like forcing it, so if people thought of a skill then go ahead
Wouldn’t be fair to Bishop considering every other class can have both innate and learned abilities.
This works for me in Scorched Sand. I’ll go with this for the chapter.
In terms of class abilities, I’ve implemented them all. The ones I couldn’t find in the list I found suitable alternatives for.
Id say level 10 skill live to serve should stay lvl 10 and make their level 1 skill holy aura because their only attacking weapon is light so holy aura should help their combat abilities
I swear, you need to make a rom hack where all the characters are just characters you’ve made for pmes. Id also try and buff/nerf some for a more interesting experience while also keeping their original identity. Either way id play it
