Yes, the skeleton key is obtained in the ruins of floor 4 by having a thief (colm, rennac or xander) stand on that a specific tile, bottom left corner (tile 0, 24).

In Ch16, there are several waves of enemies after some turns. Before they spawn, the screen moves up and down for 4to5 times and finally turn to player turn, it’s like the screen is shaking. I don’t know whether this is a problem.

Will you add some potraits to the monsters joining after Ch16? The question mark man may let people feel not good.

I really liked this game, I played it several times over time, from the whole community this hack along with the trilogy are the best for me, have you thought about doing some balancing? how to bring more human enemies to the ruins or leave a third evolution option for the characters or make the last stage of the ruins difficult as the final chapter you made with some enemies from the game revived, I know that the patch is already with almost all space complete, but some updates to not let the hack die would be nice.

That’s not a glitch. That’s just the way the game interprets the deployment. Usually reinforcements come in from one area so it does not cause issues, but since the reinforcements are coming from all over the map, the camera moves to them as they load so it quickly moves all over the map as they do.

And I’ve thought about giving them portraits, the only issue is that I don’t have more space for portraits, but I’ll try to make something to give them other than question mark man lol.

Thanks! I’m still working on this hack and updating it, at least until my summer break in august, I’ll probably start a new hack then, either the same thing for FE7 or a completely original mod. I’ve been doing balancing here and there as you guys suggest it, I’ve been given some good tips by the community. As for adding humans to the tower and ruins, I’ve thought about it, but I haven’t yet taken the time to do implement it. I know Trilogy does it, and much better than I can with the limited space, but I can try some stuff out.

Is this F7 hack going to be about the F8 or F7 base game?

It’s going to be about the FE7 story, just like this one I’m not going to change much of anything else except gameplay. I’m waiting for the FE7 transfer project to finish, because FE8’s engine is much better, and has a lot more tools in FEBuilder.

Hi there.
After Erika changed to the class which can use magic, in that class discription, she can use Sword and Anima, but actually she can also use Light.
She can get Lumina skill at lvl.10, but before lvl.10, she already can use Light.
Is the Lumina skill here useless? Or before lvl.10 she cannot use Light(Wrong set of the class weapon?)
I’m working on the Chinese version, so I want to clear this question.

That’s a mistake, she’s not supposed to have light magic, I’ll fix that. But if you want to keep it, the skill is not completely useless. Her anima rank is higher, so once she gets Lumina she automatically gets access to higher tier light magic without having to grind weapon exp on light tomes.

So can I change the class weapon Light to 0?
And another question about L’Arachel’s class, before she changes class, she can use Sword, but after she changes to Valkyrie, she losts the ability to use Sword. But in FEB class description and class weapon set of Valkyrie, she can use Sword. Is this a problem?

For Eirika, it is up to you if you want to set her light rank to 0. My personal stance is that it is not too big of a deal so I kept it. But feel free to make any changes to the mod that you like :grin:

Originally Valkyries could use swords, but there is no animation for it so I removed that ability. I also changes Sirius into a light tome altogether. So I would remove the sword rank from Valkyries.

I’m glad for several 2.50 updates as it’s getting better, I hope one day Riev’s animation doesn’t crash the game, I like the post game characters and it’s hard to do the tower 3 times for a character that crashes the game.

Thanks for your input, adding regular enemies goes a long way to boost the challenge of the tower and ruins.

Side Note: Credits to @ReturnOfTheBlackKnight and @jackofblades1991 for their ideas for improving the demon king fight.

I’ll see what I can do about Riev’s animations. Might have to mess with the hex editor a little which I’m not super knowledgeable on, but hopefully I can figure out a solution.
