[FE8] Project Jade -- A Sacred Stones Overhaul [2.4 UPDATE!] [COMPLETE]

Where I can check ALL the secret items? I’ve found by chance gilliam’s spear in ch1 and you told me about the Paragon Band.

I’ve checked the resources doc and didn’t found the secret items info…

There’s a tab called “Conversations and Secrets.” The top part tells you all of the conversations and what they give you. Underneath that is the requirements for the Paralogue. And underneath that is a section called On-Map Secrets that’ll tell you where all the secret events are.

A little late here but some folks are very worth early promo (Josh, Syren, Moulder) and some folks you want to wait till 20 those being folks that want there growths in their base class because their promo makes a spot worst (any physical unit going into a hybrid class)

The story is unchanged in this hack??

Except for the self insert chapters/paralogues??

For the most part, yes. There are a couple minor differences, namely to account for the route split and merging thereof, and the shifting around of some characters. But the major plot beats and such are the same.

Thanks for the tip, but can you give me some spoilers about why? Especially Moulder…

Josh and Syrene both get force promos later in the story so promoting them early helps you get whatever build you want on them before then. As for Moulder, I think just having an early promoted healer can be helpful. Throw him into Bishop for Slayer, or War Monk because Moulder the Boulder has an insane str growth for a holy man lol

Wow, got it.
I put everyone at level 20 in the chapter 5 arena hehehehe.
Tell me something, since we talked about Ross, our favorite, I’ve decided to go the berserker route with him, however, what could you tell me about the other two trainees in your romhack? I like them a lot too.

Amelia gets some special treatment too. Her promo options are now Soldier and Knight. Soldier is pretty much the “correct” option because it grows really quickly. Promo options from there include Soldier to Halberdier, Wolf Knight, and General, and Knight to General, Great Knight, and Halberdier (There really weren’t a whole lot of options so there’s unfortunately a lot of cross-promotion options lol). Halberdier is like a Berserker but for lances. Crit boost, learns Short Shield (boosted defense at melee range) and Lancefaire. Wolf Knight she’ll have Lances and Knives, and they learn Lunge and Seal Defense. Generals have Great Shield still and some pretty insane promo bonuses. Great Knight gets a 6 move horse for canto and rescue dropping stuff.

Ewan is a bit of a special case. His promo options are actually exactly the same, but his entire recruitment scenario is completely different, and it gives him a LOT more time to train and get out of that T0 class. Spoilers:

spoilers

He joins in Creeping Darkness (the Fog of War monster map right before Village of Silence, where he usually joins) with a personal brave tome, allowing you to train him up pretty easily. He’s then force-deployed on the next map, Village of Silence. Because of this, he doesn’t get his promotion at the beginning of battle preps. To make up for this, a new character joins on Turn 1 enemy phase, and there’s a conditional conversation they can have if Ewan is Level 10, giving him the option to promote to either Mage or Shaman.

Mage promotes into Sage and Mage Knight, as usual, as well as Druid. Sage is basically vanilla. High-magic focus, and gets Tome Range +1, which is useful. Mage Knight no longer has staves but is instead a hybrid physical/magical class, learning Arcane Blade and Glacies, a proc skill that adds resistance to damage (which is pretty good cuz Ewan has insane res). Druid is vanilla, learning Malefic Aura and Tomefaire, being the more Magical-Nuke-esque class.

Shaman promotes into Druid, Summoner, and Dark Knight. Summoner only uses Dark, so no staves, but gets the summon ability, obv, as well as learning Countermagic and Tomebreaker. So they’re kind of the anti-mage class. Dark Knight is essentially the Dark version of Mage Knight, using Swords and Dark Magic, learning Arcane Blade and Lifetaker.

I don’t agree with you. Each rom hacks have their own unique peak!!

  • Sacred trilogy peaks: it allow you to recuirt iconic couple of Fire Emblem series: Jake and Anna.
  • You can also change your unit skills what ever you like.
I still kinda sad that Jake himself not in his origin class Ballista but horse unit class.

  • I have play both and i’ld say they all awesome in their own way.

Well, that mainly stems from there being no good ballistician animations in the repo, so I understand why Jake was changed to the class he is in sacred trilogy. And plus, Sacred Trilogy has it’s own issues like the weapons regal blade, basilikos, rex hasta and reinfelche being rather useless because the legendary weapons are just strictly better. But this is a ramble to be posted on the actual sacred trilogy post, not here lol

Im having a problem with the demon king figth,he has 0 hp so every hit kills him even the 0 damage hits

any wishlist for 3.0?

What version of the patch are you playing? This was an issue with previous patches but has been fixed in the most recent ones.

Im playing in the version 1.51 so i guess is a problem from that version.

Overral a really good hack rom, kinda easy for me because there were really broken units, the paralogue was good, maybe play it again later when more versions come out
