I do think so. So far, I haven’t seen anyone here complain because someone copied their PME template, so if you’re having trouble at your PME should have, you can check ones from other PME. In case, I wish you luck on your future projects, I hope this one isn’t too memey, otherwise feel free to ignore this one.

He should be vastly different when compared to Knoll. While he’s still a magic unit like him, he has to be buffed quite considerably in some stats, since admittingly, Knoll doesn’t have great stats (he even starts with 0 luck) and since he’s a mage and not a shaman, just making him into a summoner isn’t an option anymore, so he has to be strong if you want to use him on the long run as anything that isn’t a staff bot. He has lower resistance and one less point of strength, but in return has better health, speed and luck, alongside one more point of skill, and has more constitution so that he can use heavier tomes more easily. His growths are more on the mixed side, but his speed should enable him to be able to double most enemies. And as long as you don’t promote him inmediately in the Ephraim route right before doing the desert map of the game, he should give a decent impression.
Oh, and his portrait also uses the hackbox extend patch.
