Monthly Update: January 2026
Alot of my time this month was spent writing supports and village dialogues. However, I did get a couple cool things done:
I made a fully functional version of the Dullahan from Tear Ring Saga.
Some portraits used for when the Leonster Guard reclasses for the Vidodrake Arc, plus an upcoming boss.
A 224 color CG I created that depicts the Tragedy of the Gáe Bolg.
Minor addition but the Arena BG now uses the FE4 arena background.

February was marked mostly in the development of Chapter 20, which will probably
be the last chapter of demo 3.

Monthly Update - March 2026
I spent most of this month writing and polishing the game. I plan to release sometime in June. There’s not too much to show for it in a post like this, but I will show these updated menu graphics I made for the hack:

Ending of Chapter 7 is bugged and gets stuck in a cycle of Nicholas, Asaello and Anna repeating their dialogue, if skipped with Start results in a black screen. My Xavier should be eligible for class change based on the info in the OP. Also Dirk and the sword armor (forgot the poor man’s name) died in my playthrough, so their loss may also break the chapter end event.
I updated the demo link to fix that bug, and several others throughout Acts 1 and 2. Hopefully this is the last bugfix update until I get the new Act 3 chapters finished.
Monthly Update - April 2026
Development is slow, but steady because of some work and family obligations. June was a rather optimistic schedule for release. FEE3 is the new “deadline” as far as I am concerned, but I’m hoping to shoot closer to August for a release.
Some recent story changes mean I needed to create a “generic” Anna sprite, so I made this version of Anna inspired by her appearance in FE4.
I’m experimenting with an Anima split system. Now, most classes are limited on what forms of Anima magic they can wield, which is determined by the class skill. The goal of this is to give a little bit more unique unit identity to the mages of the cast.

Monthly Update - May 2026
More polish, reworks. I’m now trying the last of the story done by the end of July, to hopefully spend all August running closed playtests. Release is hopefully September.
From all of the feedback I’ve been given, Chapter 7 has been pretty universally disliked, due to both some pretty severe bugs and the high deployment. I completely redid the layout and cutoff the bottom half of the map. (There’s some walls that break prior to the start of the chapter not pictured)
