Im digging this game, the story is genuinely unique and something i’ve wanted to see, the game play and maps are good , i was intriuged by the capture boss gimmick, but only the first 2 really seem worth recruiting instead of just turning in for money.

Glad youre enjoying it! how far along are you? And yeah the boss recruitment part of capturing bosses is mostly to help you out earlygame with a pretty strong unit (minus otome/hidenaga) that usually falls off later on unless you really like them, recruitment isnt the only type of reward you can get from capturing bosses! every boss thats capturable gives something unique!

I usually like to wait to play games, especially fan games and hacks until they’re finished, but the past few days I’ve been debating on whether I want to try this now because I love how the ideas sound

it means a lot you say that! if its any consolation, everything but the final arc is available on the feu patch, minus some qol stuff here and there (a certain character has their final portrait and is no longer white garret lol)

Weird bug
Conrad is following Eliz like a vengeful ghost. In 2-1, he counts as a unit but doesn’t show up and caused me to have to manually end turn, and in 2-2 he starts on the map and I’m able to fight with him and/or trade his items away. If it helps, I’m using Mgba

Very cool way to get Eliz’s promotion. I didn’t expect either of the lords to promote yet but I liked how this one happened. Reading through the last scene, I’d be very surprised if Nicole wasn’t playable, though it’d be interesting if something does happen to her, whether because of us or through a cutscene, and I have a feeling Dougal is going to end up playable
And for the bug, the 5000 gold village in 3-E can be visited repeatedly, which I definitely took advantage of lol

Yeah I figured it was about time to promote them since there won’t be too many maps left, plus i felt it fits narratively! I’ve always been a fan of promotion items not so much being like a magical upgrade, but moreso like medals or accolades a soldier would get in battle that would allow them to get better stuff! Hope you’ll enjoy the stuff regarding Nicole and Dougal once I update the patch again! and whoops thanks for catching that, forgot about infinite money house lol

New update yahoo!! I’m REALLY close to finishing the hack now, 4 more chapters left, as well as redoing 2 more, finishing all the supports, and then it’ll be done! I’ll do the hard mode and one or two extra gaiden maps once the full thing is released, because I’ll want a bit of a break lol. I might withhold putting the final version out until i can get rid of all the placeholders for the final version portraits but we shall see! Either way, the end is in sight, and quickly approaching! Hopefully it’ll be done by the fall!
