@MattPascal I have sorta a “balance” submission (feel free to reject), but I think we should boost generic enemy growths by 15% across the board and/or install the patch that turns Easy/Normal mode penalties into boosts.

sadly fe8 is easy enough that even +15% isn’t that much especially considering pmes always have stronger units than vanilla
i recommend +4 hard mode bonuses for hard mode at the start and ramp it up +1 every other map
then add vanilla fe8 hm boosts to normal mode to make it the fe8 “hard mode” experience
