Hope this unit review was useful.
Oh, I forgot one last unit.
Nancy: I like female heroes, she’s a jeigan, useful in her first chapters, fell off like nature commands.
I liked her characters and her bonds with the family. I wish she was a bit more powerful beside good skill.
Always benched.
I have made plenty of progress in the past year, but almost all of it is endgame content that would be pretty spoilery for a general audience. So for FEE3 this year, I’ve decided to do a Q&A format where I will be answering questions submitted by others.
Feel free to ask about anything related to the hack or hacking in general. I’m not opposed to more light-hearted questions, but I ask that your question has at least a grain of sincerity to it.
The link to submit a question can be found here. I will probably keep the link open until around August 1st and then record the Q&A sometime that week, so make sure to get your questions in before the end of the month. I look forward to seeing the questions!
Thanks for all of the questions for far for the Q&A, I can already see a number in there that I’m looking forward to addressing in the video! Just a reminder to try to get your questions in within the next week or so before I actually record the video. Thanks again!
Just wanted to give a quick update. Firstly, as mentioned before, FEE3 video is recorded, and you’ll be able to watch in next month during FEE3! I don’t know when the 7 Siblings showcase will be debuting, but I’ll be sure to post it here when it does.
In other news, the game is nearing completion! Due to some new information, I am now able to give a tentative release date for a [Complete], fully playable release! Without further ado, the complete version of Fire Emblem: 7 Siblings will release on:
Friday, January 20th, 2023!
There is still much work to be done on the project, but I already know this is the date I want to set for myself, and the date that everything will go live! I feel confident that the project will be ready for a release on this date, and even if there is a little bit more to be done, the project will go live in a fully playable state at this time. This project has taken 4 years and hundreds if not thousands of hours of my life to get to this point. Get pumped, everyone!
Yea i will be extremely busy that day brushing my teeth for a long time!!!
and i guess a lot of other ppl too, thats a terrible date imo but congrats all the same!
I would release, at the latest, one week before Engage comes out. Otherwise people are going to be too busy with it and will pay less attention to the hack.
Bit late on the draw here, but hope all of you have been enjoying FEE3! The 7 Siblings Q&A video has been live since yesterday:
Not a ton of flash in this year’s showcase, but hopefully some interesting insights into the process of the project for those who like that sort of thing.
We are still on track for release on 1-20-2022, almost exactly 3 months to the day from today. Though a chunk more endgame and epilogue writing, eventing, and playtesting remains to finish off the project in a satisfying fashion, the game is technically playable from the very beginning of starting a new save file to rolling the credits at the end.
I hope to begin private beta testing within a month once I’m satisfied with the endgame on my end, thus giving 2 full months for squashing bugs, adjusting balance, and adding polish before a public release.
I haven’t fully decided yet if planned paired endings will make it in before supports are fully written, but at the moment I’m leaning that they won’t be included until supports are fully written.
There aren’t plans for very many paired endings in either case, only a small handful, and each unit will only have at most one paired ending available to them. These pairings will likely be obvious from the main story. So I don’t expect paired versions of endings to deviate too much from individual endings.
Looks like a really solid hack overall, definitely will play it once it comes out next year. (also that world map looks really good i cant explain why)
Quick update that I meant to give a few days ago, but I forgot:
Gameplay and story are completely done from start to finish. Every feature that was a must for the fully playable release is in and the game has been beaten by me and several others. [Complete] is on the menu, and soon, the feast will begin.
Only things left are further bug fixing, balance, and polish tweaks, which are ongoing. Hack is in a good place and there is no longer any question that the release date will be met at this point. See you all then!
