The gist of Jude is that he’s a reference to the unused character from the FE8 beta, Jude Rupert, who was originally gonna be the Obsidian back then, so i weaved that onto his little backstory, also the growth rates are more of a meme/play on his “perfectionist nature” (hence his personal skill) and the 1% MAG growth is because i had 1 point remaining and i wanted to make a jab at Barthe’s 2% RES growth lmao
