probably save later bosses to be the really hard ones when the player has more options besides sit there for 5 turns doing chip with javelins

like i have pablo and orson replacements cooking right now, so the chapter 13 eirika route side boss and chapter 16 will be really hard but i expect the player to have multiple strong units that would be able to counter what those bosses have

if someone wants to make a really hard early game boss i guess 5x would be the best bet since the player has a fixed team and very specific options (laslow’s rally spectrum and selena’s light brand for example) that could be utilized if you want to make a puzzle map/boss

Lance wielding class to stop swords he has 12 def and tomebreaker to stop the lord’s tome and the mage knight and if you want to sword with mage knight cuz pre-promoted he has a horseslayer

Only unit that is agaisnt him that can figjt him is the other armor knight who has the same str as his def. So if it wasnt for the heavy lance soldier it would have been an armor duel or fishing for a tome hit
