First 8 chapters are complete. Working on Chapters 9 and 10 before the first playtest is released.
Likely the full game will be released late 2027.

Hi Xiaocai - totally fine with you translating The Shadow of Dawn. It is the sequel to The Dark Amulet. Is there already a Chinese translation for the first game?

Thanks a lot! Just to let you know, a friend of mine is currently working on the Chinese translation for The Dark Amulet. I will coordinate with him to unify all terminology, character and place names between the two games, so the translations stay consistent across the series.

I regret playing Dark Amulet + this hack as my first foray in to FE Romhacks. I feel the quality is so high that other hacks just aren’t as satisfying. Incredible work; I look forward to the third installment.

Signed up just to say thanks I had a really great time with both of these games. And OMG the sprite animation on the last enemy is beyond gorgeous. That alone could have me pumped for your next one honestly. I look forward to more of your work!

Hey Vorgus, I dont usually engage online but I recently finished Dark Amulet and am jumping into this hack in a second.
I have to say that you’ve created genuinely a better narrative than most fire emblem games get even close to and certainly better than anything the GBA games attempted. Dark Amulet is not a perfect game sure but if you asked me for my complaints the only 1 I can remember now is feeling like the support system should have been communicated better because I got some A supports without realizing that it meant I couldnt get any others regardless of if they were romantic or not.
I am glad youre going to finish up this Trilogy and I am glad youre doing what youre passionate about but I think if you really wanted to you can look into monetizing your skillset. I feel like you have real talent and I think you can definitely look into attempting to create something original if you wanted and it would have some real legs in the market. If youre interested I can point you in the direction of people who can help with funding and some other logistical issues but thats for a future in which you’ve already given this serious thought. I hope to hear about any independent projects you undertake in the future, you already have a good evidence bank in the form of these hacks and if you wanted to there are places and firms that will take you seriously as an investment.
But regardless of all of that, I made this account purely to say, great work, you have a lot of talent. I hope to enjoy more of what it creates in the future.
