Guys I have been informed that the Kingdom of Bern has a bounty on my head for certain changes I made to the rom and they want me dead, gonna go off the grid until they give up or they hit the enemy cap trying to swarm wyverns on my decoy in the mountain (+40 avoid)

As someone who has not played SLoP, isn’t playing SLoP, and will never play SLoP, I can say SLoP is the best hack I have (n)ever played.

So, full disclosure, the reason I didn’t step in earlier is because I thought it was funny, but clearly that was a mistake.
I’m not going to go through and highlight every individual bad post (I’ve handled the most egregious ones in private), but in summary:

I’ll be real, I’m not sure how someone gets more than five minutes into the game and not realize that it’s a joke hack. The “die” button alone should be the big tip-off that this is not meant to be taken seriously.

The big dogpile on people expecting this to be an actual playable game was not it, chiefs. I’ll admit to joining in myself because I found it ridiculous too, but making a big dog and pony show of laughing at someone who didn’t get the joke isn’t the kind of atmosphere we want to cultivate.

On the other hand, a big public meltdown over the devs “not accepting criticism” isn’t it, either. Fine, you’ve said your piece, this project isn’t fun to play and the devs should feel ashamed of themselves for wasting your time. Yeah yeah you got made fun of a little, move on and go play a hack that you do enjoy.

Do not fake drama. I thought ATHATH’s bit with “fixing” the project was hilarious, but someone reading the thread out of context might not know it’s an in-joke.

Wait no Hag in White is really good. Trust me I don’t play meme hacks either lol. it’s a solid amazing project. You should really give it a chance. No meme emblem involved I promise. I would hate for you to miss out on that great hack because you think it’s something it’s not.
After reading this thread about a joke hack and not finding anything even remotely funny, I am pleased to announce that I will not be playing this joke hack.

In the wake of all of this, I’d like to formally announce a new project I’ll be recruiting for: Princes, Emperors, And Kings. It will definitely not be a joke rebalance of any game, and in fact will be a tabletop RPG. Keep an eye out for a post about it in the future, since I’ll be needing a brand new team for it.

Don’t we already have one or two FE TTRPGs? Though the one I tried to read was pretty tellius focused, in spite of presenting itself as a Fire Emblem ttrpg and not an FE9-10 ttrpg…
