Yeaaaaaah so it looks like there was some issues with patches as I was working through the changes and 2-5x change existed on some versions and not others. Not sure how it happened, but I’ll get the fix up soon.
EDIT: @KrashBoomBang - new patch is on the dropbox. Thanks for reporting the issue. I did not have time to test, but I copied it verbatim from the correct version so it should work properly. Please keep me posted and I’ll test more thoroughly later. Thanks.
Just did the endgame gaiden, there was only one small issue: the game seems to have “deployed” my entire army offscreen.
When the map starts, the cursor is offscreen and constantly scrolling, fixed by just pressing L. Otherwise, the map worked correctly.
As for the other two new maps (2-5x and 3-3x), I liked them! They were much more open than other maps around the same time, and they had slightly more relaxed paces to their side objectives while still having good reason to move quickly and be proactive. A shame that the gazelles didn’t have names.
Yeah I may adjust that - I’ll have a think on the best solution. Perhaps giving the player preps and just force deploying the units you get there so only those units are deployed instead.

Hey Pandan! Wanted to try the hack before going to sleep and so far I’m having a blast. Except I ran into one issue. Chapter 1-3. The game froze at the end of the dialogue, like it can happen. I loaded a savestate I made just before killing the boss and this time I skipped the dialogues but… The game still froze. I tried suspend the chapter but same thing, it froze. I’ll try tomorrow to restart the chapter tomorrow but right now I’m unsure as to how to advance to the rest of the game.
I like how gaidens have their own prep themes now. Neat detail. That said…

Wow, it does NOT fit the first two gaidens in the slightest. Here’s Storch having an emotional episode, and then suddenly the music’s like “yay, fighting my dead brother’s guilt ghost to the death! Isn’t this a jolly ol’ time?”
It’s not important, just a small observation, haha. Run’s going well so far. I’m up to Honeydew’s join chapter, no major issues encountered. Well, other than Titus being supremely RNG-screwed, but nothing to be done about that.
Well done, this game is awesome! It has absolutely taken over all my time for the last couple days. Unfortunately, my run came to halt on chapter 4-6 when I press seize instead of ending the map the time limit disappears and Storch gets locked into a movement glitch where it acts as if he had canto and my only 2 options are Supply and Wait. When I hit wait it just reactivates the movement glitch and I can move around the map with no real way to end my turn or advance in any way. I’ve redone the chapter but it persists every time. Any advice would be greatly appreciated thanks!
