i saw a sword in the armory in 1-3 that seems really expensive for this part of the game, and i have no money left. i assume i’m not supposed to be able to buy it yet?
Yes, it will make sense later - I don’t expect the player to buy it or have resources to do so.
EDIT: Yeah, elec, it is a class-wide issue - will impact them in all chapters, unfortunately. Hope to get the fix out in ~5 hours once I wrap up work.
if the wyverns freeze the game, should i wait for the fix to come out, or is it fixed already?

I updated the dropbox with a patch that fixes the movement issue above, some song volumes, along with a few small graphic issues and changes that got rolled back under my nose.
Currently battling a bug that impacts Part 4. If you are about to get to Part four (3-E is the last chapter before this), please make a backup of your save in case you run into a bug that stops you from progressing. I’ll keep everyone updated as we figure out the issue.
Additionally, if you could send me a 3-E / 4-1 save, that would be helpful (Any mode is fine) - thanks!

No problem. There are a lot and I don’t recall them all off-hand.
I’d recommend opening up the ROM in FEBuilder and poking through to see the pairings.
The 4-1 issue should be solved. Please update to the patch now available on Dropbox before proceeding. As a precaution, I strongly encourage you to backup your save in case the issue persists, but so far, it appears to be stable.

Hello! I just finished part 2, and I have a confession to make. I’m usually not the kind of guy to engage in the fine art of shipping. However… I so badly want to see pompous blondie propose to Helga. Just to see her reaction. The idea is so hilariously absurd that I desperately want to see it. I even sacrificed my idea for support triangle between Titus, Zoya and Hollace just to have Titus support with Helga instead. They better have a paired ending, otherwise this is a 0/10 hack, you hear me?
Anyway, part 2 was pretty fun! The extra chapters were nice. Honeydew’s gaiden in particular. Such a bizarre premise, but boy did I love it. “Helga, the savior of all poultry” is the most epic title. The Wabooz chapter was cool too, as an introduction to Lori that doesn’t involve her falling into a trap. The chapter with the logs was kinda fillerish, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.
This part was as good as ever, and the extra Titus scenes (or at least I feel like there were scenes with him that I did not remember from the old version) were great to set up his character some more. There’s just one thing… why isn’t Titus force-deployed in, like, half of part 2’s chapters? All of the attacks before the team joins Lori are aimed directly at him, and afterwards he’s the de facto leader of the army. It doesn’t make much sense that he can just be benched half the time.
Ideally, I’d make both him and Storch force-deployed for the entirety of part 2. Maybe not the gaidens. Though, to be honest, in the gaidens there’s no reason for Storch to be forced either.
That aside, I’m still loving this game. Here are a few more problems I have encountered.
- Brock and Purcell still have no generic battle quotes. You did give one to Kosuke, so I guess you just forgot about these two.
- This isn’t a bug, but there’s still no justification in the story for the presence of the army in Duck and Mango’s gaiden. This strikes me as weird, considering there are optional conversations to justify both Storch and Titus in the chicken chapter. Why is there no such thing here?
- Remember how, months back, I reported that there was a minor issue with Queen Akela’s portrait in her statscreen? Well, ever since you made portraits blink in that screen…

…The issue has worsened. It’s still nothing worth wasting your time on, but… yeah. I just found it funny.
- When somebody attacks while standing on a tile with a ballista, the ballista’s range appears regardless of whether or not the unit can use it.

I’m pretty sure the extra range doesn’t work, it’s just a visual glitch.
- In chapter 2-6, the marker on the escape tile is hidden until you uncover that tile. That’ll make it really easy to get lost if you skip the scenes. Maybe change that tile to a unique one, like in part 1’s escape chapters?
- Again, not exactly a bug, but the time limit in 2-E is way too generous for how long it takes to kill Hindrawan. Helga whacked half her health bar as soon as turn 4, and then Titus finished the job. I did give Titus the boots again, but it wouldn’t have mattered - Storch and Naia were both right there as well. Given the nature of the chapter, I think Hindrawan needs a big buff. Maybe give her Miracle. Make it impossible to just destroy her in one turn, because otherwise the map can be finished without any sort of trouble before the enemy has time to finish off all the green units.
- I played a little bit of part 3, and I found that you’ve changed Waluyo’s battle sprite to something more fitting! That’s great. However, there’s a small glitch with his new animations.

Not sure about bows, but if he misses with an axe, the hitsound still plays and the hit particles still appear. It’s… strange. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like it before.

The Akela portrait and a few other glitches from up top in your post should be remedied in the latest version of the patch. Please download and re-patch a fresh ROM.
The quotes and talk convos I’ll look into adding down the line, as well. Thanks for pointing these out.
any help with the desert maps, talking about hidden items
I’ll make a desert map item map eventually, not having access to a mouse right now makes doing graphics a bit of a chore.
New patch is available on Dropbox with many of the fixes Saint Rubenio mentioned up top, as well as a few other issues mentioned on the discord.
Specifically,
- Warp was set up wrongly
- Arcfire and Flame Sword anims didn’t show EXP gain properly. They animations are now changed.
- Many boss quote and other flags were swapped so they should play normally
- The door in 4-3x opens properly now
- An event in 2-3x won’t run if the boss is defeated ahead of time.

I found a small typo I’m not not sure you know of. It says chapter 47x. I’m on chapter 1-7xx. 
Unfortunately, no option for “xx” exists so I just used 47x.
I looked into the routine that handles that display up there when I did my prep screen hack a while back. If you’d like, I could take a look into making it display properly later. (btw
congrats on the release!)
