[FE6] The Binding Blade Renewal (FE6 Rebalance) 3.0

Hello, for the time being I do not intend to update this hack anytime soon however I’m more than happy to respond to feedback.

On Sophia the idea is that every rebalance or overhaul of FE6 either keeps her awful as to keep it like vanilla or just makes her another boring unit that’s just fine so I decided to way overtune Sophia just for the funny. Sorry if it feels like a bit much.

As for raigh the way I went about buffing him was to boost his damage output to an insane degree while making his speed and bulk mid af to contrast Lilina’s high speed growth. And if I wanted a slow unit to be viable they need to be able to deal a lot of damage in their one attack.

You can make desert items guaranteed pickups by turning them into Give Item events, IIRC. I forget the exact process, but I think I’ve seen it done before. Maybe ask in the febuilder help section on FEUcord?

Did Roy’s promoted animation get a touch up? It was bugged the last time I played.

Roy does not and never had a unique promoted animation separate from vanilla. His promotion is his vanilla promotion
The only new class is thief fighter

Small request but maybe have Roy’s promo item be given by Cecilia during the cutscene after ch8? Legance holding it seems kinda weird. (You can ignore this)

Hello! I scoured the post and couldn’t find which promotion item works on thieves, I’d like to know
Also, my allen is getting extremely skill screwed and I find it hilarious, but it does make me interested, in how you changed everyone’s growth rates
Would you maybe put them in the post as well?

Thieves promote with a hero crest, the item itself says as much. I don’t have the time currently to write down all bases and growths.

I find it funny how every rebalance does that map edit to ch8. I don’t mind it being long and windy if you have something to do at every point, which in vanilla you mostly do. maybe if the back reinforcements appeared earlier so you deal with them while getting the chests, then have to deal with the forward reinforcements

Hello ghost! I’ve been training chad, and got him to level 20! Then, I promoted him
And uh… He got 9 str, 10 skl, 8 spd and some defences
I feel that is… Overtuned
I’m sorry if I annoy you, I just really want this rebalance to be the best it can be, because I love it

In the current version Chad is a callback to the way units such as Lachesis were handled in the older games. Presently Chad’s growths are actually pretty bad, with the payoff being in his incredibly good promotion. Training him to 20 will give you a very good unit, and that’s very much the point. That a unit does not get payoff until promotion. My girlfriend recommended this unit design, drawing a connection to a Berwick Saga unit.

Hey that sounds nice but I’d rather keep those animations and sprites in Project Ember and the Binding Blade remake.
