how does it work the promotion branches of Mist?
Mist starts off as a level 1 trainee with on chapter 9 of PoR. At level 10 you can use a master seal on her which will promote her to one of multiple options which will divert further to a promoted class from there. For her options, you really just have the choice between using a sword class with her S rank PRF Florete that repairs itself after every chapter, or you can go a mage class for magic/staff usage.
If you start off in RD or don’t transfer from PoR she’ll be a Bishop and promote to Valkyrie during base conversation in 4-1, however if you transfer from PoR she can become a number of classes then promote to Valkyrie in the same base conversation on 4-1.

Does anyone know how to use the ashera statues to promote to third tier? I know of no other way to beat the final part, or even if it is possible at all. I had an immacculate team but the stats on the dragons were insanity. Does anyone know how to use them to promote again? Thanks!
To promote you need to bring the unit you want to promote with an inventory of just the statue and click the top option in front of the statue, this will promote your unit assuming they are level 10+ in tier 2.
For when you can promote, you get 1 promotion in PoR if you defeat the Black Knight, you get a chance to promote after 3-12, and then you can promote after 4-5 after you select your tower group. After that point you can no longer go back to the world map.
The NPC that takes you to the statue is located by the ships to the left of Edelgard.
Wow! I found it and promoted my heather and shinon, that are absolute units due to their insane growths and reclassing them. Appreciate it! Maybe there’s a chance at beating it this time.

Did they complete a english patch? How are you guys playing? Do you just read the Chinese?
Is it in applyingthe UI patch? I’m able to apply the 9+10 to a game and make that work, but I’m not sure how to apply the UI patch. I can’t put it over either a base FE8 or a patched 9+10.

The UI Patch translates most of the UI text into English, but you can kinda brute force in Chinese with only some things not being clear after you play enough. Applying the UI Patch can be finicky but eventually it’ll work properly if you use JS Patcher.

If you reclass shinon and Titania, they will be two of your best units because of the growths. Personally, I made Heather a absolute unit of a swordmaster with vantage, so I agree that’s overpowered, but necessary for the ending difficulty.

Hey! After part four, before the endgame, the ashera shrine doesn’t work, though I have the statues… Does anyone know why, or how I can fix that? And maybe gain more statues?
The event should work just fine, you need whoever you’re trying to promote to have an empty inventory besides the statue item.
Thank you! I had figured that out haha, I knew that I just forgot in my excitement. But as to the second part of the question, is there a way to get any more than the scant few that are given?
What is stopping us from doing an English patch here? Do the devs just not seem to want to anymore? I’ve seen volunteers. Surely we wouldn’t need to translate it by hand, i’m sure using Claude or something we could use the txt file for the original game and insert this games txt and it wouldn’t be too hard for it to make translations.

It’s been said here that you can possibly get a statue from the pirate raid in the market, though it’s apparently rare and I don’t have enough patience to run it enough to bother.
As for the question about an English patch, the game isn’t 1:1 to the original. There’s new supports, events are different, there’s all the new skills that will need to be translated in the newer version of the game. The original English patch didn’t translate everything in the UI even to this point.

Playing the endgame and encountering a garrett glitch that makes him invincible. His health bar is malfunctioning so even when he dies (and gives experience) he comes right back. Hahahaha. Garret is goated. Now in the last chapter all the elementals attack him making the chapter significantly easier. I am laughing as I slowly bring down Ashera.
I had him randomly die from healing since I was running infinite use fortify spam. He randomly died from what I assume was HP underflow. It’s funny honestly.

Is it still impossible to recruit Shinon in classic mode?
It’s the same process as vanilla PoR.
Talk with Rolf, then defeat with Ike. Shinon is recruited and should be in your roster at the beginning of next chapter. There’s nothing saying it happened but he should be there.
See the post I replied to, it said Shinon couldn’t be recruited unless you play in Phoenix mode. I’m asking if that’s still the case
