exactly you take the path on your playstyle and do you perfer Hidneo or Sam but if your not using either Hideno might be chosen because he comes with the rare rune blade and lightbrand the few 1-2 range sword locked units get.
sadly both paths kinda doom the Fir replacement as its a training project of a female myrm but both paths give you a fully trained male swordmaster.
