Anyway, I don’t regularly watch any vtubers or streamers, I’m more of a recorded content sort of person. Sometimes I check them out if they’re covering games I play and know like when Pekora played Yakuza 0 or when Korone played Monster Rancher 2.
I think the only one I watch actually streaming is an indie JP Vtuber called Kohaku. She streams Shadowverse for 4 hours every night at midnight for some reason and sometimes I tune in because it’s good background noise.

I read somewhere that two vtubers actually conceived their kid on a Fantia vid so this checks out (the mum actually did take a pregnancy leave from vtubing complete with a preggers art announcement pic).

True, true :333 However, I feel like she’s an exception because she herself is an AI, she’s meant to have a mind sourced from various disparate places and perspectives, and sometimes…that can put her in trouble 
But I’ll give her this: she’s got a lot more soul than a standard TTS 
Also, really quick thing on Zentreya just in case anyone asks: No, she is not an AI (no duh, but it needs to be said in case). She’s still a real person, but in an act that both fits her kayfabe as the “Cyber Punk” and helps conceal her identity, she uses a Speech-to-Text-to-Speech program for her voice (which btw goes hard as hell and is kind of underrated imo

There is still room for improvement regarding voice.
There is a technique called Babiniku (バ美肉), which requires training to master.
There is also AI-based voice imitation, so it may soon be possible for anyone to produce a cute voice.
