Fire Emblem: Dust to Dust

ilu btw. (You mean to c# right, or at least to some kind of .NET thing, to work with the other stuff we’re all doing right?)

Er, no. To FE8, but still in HTML+JS because that’s what I know. Not that it matters, all it has to do is spit out usable Event Assembler scripts. In that respect, it’s already integrated.

Eh that still represents a big advancement for the community imo, so more power to you. Also just the fact that we have source for these things is good to know.

Okay, so it doesn’t actually work yet, but what do you think? Is it worth pursuing?

Haven’t updated this for a while, here’s Yang’s animation:

And I’ve been playing around with world map stuff:

Huh impressive. The only thing I think you can improve about your game is the mugs.

Ok… The world map is gorgeous, the battle theme is eargasming, and Ruby (WIP) and Yang’s animations are awesome!! Man, this is looking soooooo cool so far!
Indeed inspiring!

P.S. How in the world did you insert that CG with Nora in FE8?

I think circleseverywhere used the method they posted some time back

Waaaaaaaaaah this is coming along nicely!!! Can’t wait to play the newest patch!
The fact that it runs on FE8 is really inspiring too!

Moreover, volume 3 is amazing so far. They’ve improved the animations SO much, nnngh.

Ok, I know I sound like a fanboy, but I really like RWBY. And those mugs of the evil guys could be polished a bit, but they’re pretty impressive. They resemble them A LOT. (way more accurate than Weiss for example :0)

Loving it so far! Keep it up! -damn snowy maps, I want 'em too-

Episode 3 was pretty sweet! Plot progression is coming and my ‘educated guess’ for Winter’s role/personality seems to be confirmed. Now I just have to somehow slot Qrow into the story.

and who knew there was so much overlap between RWBY and Fire Emblem fans?

Your hack got me into RWBY. Thanks for that, can’t wait to see what else you have planned.

Also WIP for Ozpin

and Qrow

Gameplay question: what do you think of keeping a “Leeroy Jenkins” NPC alive - but if you try to rescue him, he unrescues himself before charging back in on NPC phase?
I got the mechanics of it more or less working, but I’m wondering if it might be too annoying.

Not gonna lie, I preferred the original spliced mugs to these. The faces are smushed together.

I do like Weiss somewhat. She could be a lot better with some touchups, but the rest need some heavy quality control.

Edit: Oh holy shit, Qrow, how did I miss that? That is a solid mug.

I think more context would be helpful in answering your question. you can PM me if you like

Maybe it’s because they have RWBY proportions rather than FE proportions? Or maybe I just suck at 3/4 angle.
Still, most of the old versions were more like edits than splices. Splicing would imply that I used more than 1 sprite as a base.

@ghast Basically I have an early game Defend Throne map, and as a side objective you have to keep the NPC alive to recruit him. I want the player to hate him, so he’s trying to suicide on the enemy while also stealing exp. The player should have 2 cavs and a peg, so rescue chaining shouldn’t be a problem as long as you don’t mind tying up 1-2 of your mounted units every turn.
