Hey there! I am currently considering dipping my toes into the romhack scene with the hack that I am most interested in seeing; a playable Mark romhack for our beloved Fire Emblem 7! Seeing as there’s a few hacks out there with playable tacticians (highly recommend Dark Lord and the Maiden of Light by TytheBub) I thought it was about time to see if we could make Mark properly come to life in 2025.
I know who I personally would love to be able to support if the tactician in Blazing Blade was an actual playable character that shows up in cutscenes, on the battle map, you know; generally actually existing rather than a method to break the fourth wall, but— who would you guys want to be able to A-support with your own tactician?
And if I made the gender togglable so you could play a female tactician, is that something that would be of interest as well? Since that option is already present in the game, it would feel uncomplete to not offer that option. (and selfishly, I want to write an A-support with Wil, lmao)
The lords would automatically be selected, as their friendship with Mark in the various routes are very important, but I would love to hear some input on who else would be an interesting choice— platonic or romantic.
Given the fact that Mark will probably be a dark mage, I’m thinking Canas would be an interesting choice to have on the support list— regardless of gender.
