For the bigger answer, around ten years ago I was in a trip in Sicily, and I saw a bar called āEl Pinguinoā (something like that). As a penguin lover, I found it very funny and cute, so I decided to use it as my new classic username online.
Nowadays, with transition, I mostly go by LaPinguina, but I havenāt look into how to change username on FEU lol
So I used to play RuneScape a lot when I was younger and had a much older username then, I became member on it which enabled me to change my name. I came up with Armory as it seemed pretty simple and memorable? Since then Iāve adopted it to Youtube, Playstation and this. Or any online RPG, really.

Reading all these stories with guys being mistaken for girls is just funny to me, who also has it happen from time to time. Iām a guy, through and through, but I inherit most of my motherās physical traitsā most notably my long hairā so people sometimes think Iām a girl. It never happens online, but itās happened a couple times in real life. It happens most often when Iāve recently shaved, probably because facial hair is usually a dead giveaway.

And, yeah
I wanted a new name + ladder reset on Pokemon Showdown so I named myself after some random pretty obscure battle facility leaderās who name was close to mine (Emmet vs Emmett). I was also like wanting to ditch my old reddit account that had my birth month + date in the username and stuck with my current few month old running Pokemon Showdown name.
After that it kinda just became my go-to name for everything since it felt like a subtle reference to my favorite pokemon generation and still kept my irl name.
ā¦The fact Emmet and Ingo got significantly popular will never not be funny to me.
Something misc funny to me though is that Emmet also just kinda uses a lot of my favorite pokemon. I canāt remember if I knew that when picking his name.
Wanted to make something sounding edgy and cool. Tried to think, thought hard. And came with this one. It was super cool back when i invented it, like azure fury, but compiled into azafure. Then, i realized, its a name of city in terraria mod, lmao. Anyways, i like it. It sounds like an actual name and my co-workers are calling me that. My friends, too. And i really like it.
