I’m glad to see I’m not the only one to play for the story, despite the fact that Fire Emblem is known for everything but the story.
But I keep hoping I will be pleasantly surprised.

I’d be curious to see how this would skew in other FE communities. I’m not surprised the results skew towards gameplay since so many of us are making our own games.

True, I think a large part of the series’ success in recent years is due to the popularity of the characters. In fact Heroes as a game probably wouldn’t exist if it weren’t for the culture surrounding character fanart that’s developed since awakening.
