A convo i had with a friend had me intrigued. When i say online avatar I mean stuff like your main image you use in the community (pfps, custom mugs, etc)
Like yknow how nuramon uses and elf mug in his showcases.
So it got me thinking, how close are y’all avatar to yourself irl (by it headcanon personality or just looks in general) and why did yall choose that specific image to represent yall online?
My pfp aint me at all, but i do like green-haired characters and i have a love for FF6… damn, i gotta make a green haired mug one of these days.

My PFP is a self-insert mug I made with the Fecc. More on the idealized side, so the looks don’t match nearly as much as I wish they did.

My pfp ain’t me at all, and it never could be me. He’s too loved by friends and peers alike. He’s also a blond himbo fictional character I made up in my mind.
My original pfp was a character from the book I’m writing and it’s what I use on every other site. The one I have now is an FE mug that is supposed to represent me but it’s obviously not exact (I wear glasses and have a longer beard for one)
Needless to say, I am not Super Mario in reality. I just like Mario games.
Mine kinda looks like my actual self, except I have glasses and my hair only goes down to about my shoulders. This portrait is a splice with Igrene’s hair, which is far longer, but the way I made this portrait masks the length a bit. Of course the face is different too, but it is Wil’s face-- funny, considering my name is Wilhem-- which isn’t too far off. I do like to wear gray and blue, though. It’s a bit idealized but not entirely inaccurate.
Irl, I’m a skinny socially awkward brunette who looks like he hasn’t sleep in years but that’s just my face… probably just as pale as my pfp here tho. Picked it because I found it to be one of my prettier splices and I’m always fond of pretty boys lol

In real life i have a afro so never been able to find a avatar that looks like me too easily-
Overall though the one im using here fits how I look, rather generic. Hes a character from a fighting game who ends up turning into basically a pile of goo who can control bugs. Fun character to play.

I just think it’s funny.

Yeah, I’m def not a blue Peashooter in real life, lol. I just have it as one because of PVZ being one of my favorite games.

Here I use my oc, inspired by rogue class, Sonic the Hedgehog and the fact that I have a ponytail. Sometimes I use Mother 3 Claus fan art because I gave him my name while playing Mother 3.
Mine is a waifu from a parody furry/scalie/dino visual novel, i just think she’s neat (qt ptero goth gf ftw)
