[SOLVED] Inserting FE7 Assassins in FE6

Hi, me again.

I’d like to insert the FE7 assassin into FE6. I can get the map sprites fairly easily; however, I’m not entirely sure how to get the battle animations. Is it possible to pull it from FEditor, or can I somehow transform this http://www.feplanet.net/sprites-archive-battle-sheets/7/803 into a battle animation?

It’s not the end of the world if I can’t; I’ll just use the female assassin I found on Serene’s and some people will undergo a sex change on promotion.

You can pull it from FEditor, that’s what “dump animation” is for

You don’t want to just import the animation straight from FE7. The SFX used when the assassin twirls his daggers in his critical animation in FE7 is replaced with an electric charging SFX in FE6 (The one used by Zephiel, not from the Shaman charging animation).

Just to save you the trouble of trying to rescript the whole animation with loud game crashes, I have it rebuilt and ready to use in FE6. Had to change a few commands to get it to work almost identically to FE7.

Oh, and for obvious reasons, I removed the “Silencer/Lethality” part of the animation (it crashed when I left it in).

However, when I try to insert the animation using FEditor I get the following error:

I’m inserting it using the instructions found [here][1].
I’m reasonably sure I didn’t mess with the file.

Fixed the link. Redownload it and it should work now.
