I am working on an FE8 rom in FEBuilder and I have designed a single chapter in which the main character isn’t present and one of the side characters acts as the main character. While the chapter functions fine, I run into occasional visual glitches and the cursor often appears outside the screen because the main character isn’t present. Is there a simple way to change main characters for a single chapter? I’ve avoided using an actual route split because I want the items on the other characters to be available during battle preparations so that players aren’t inconvenienced.
I remember something like this existing in The Heroes We Deserve, but I have no idea how they did it.
