Let’s reduce everyone’s movement by 1.
But uh, give all the gaidens that have time requirements 10 extra turns, to make sure we can still do them. I know 10 turns may be a lot to compensate but considering we have a lot of other changes I think we can be a little bit open when compensating.

Make the units required for gaiden chapters into Game Over conditions before their respective gaidens (“Lilina” dying is a Game Over in chapter 8 and so on) so the gaidens are even harder to miss

Let’s exclude Mages from that.

you are now forced to go to ilia after completing sacae (with niime being recruited in ilia)
(also for this change probably remove the extra legendary weapon from yoder’s inventory and renumber the chapters after the old route split)

all of the pegasus knights from vanilla are back to being recruitable and all will follow the pattern of being mono weapon units who gain staves on promotion like engage griffin knights/other games’ falcons (shanna - lances, thea - swords, juno - axes+staves since she is prepromoted)

Alen in shambles right now since he has one less move than lance

echidna and all remaining playable nomads/cavs/paladins are all turned into mono weapon cav/paladin classes with the following distribution (marcus - lance paladin, sue - bow cav, zealot - axe paladin, treck - lance cav, noah - sword cav, sin - bow cav, echidna - axe paladin); sue and sin still promote with orion’s bolt (leave the normal nomad class intact for enemy usage)

franz replaces geese and joins as a lvl 1 sword paladin with his fe8 10/1 average stats in paladin and growths

explaning these changes: cavalry have been nerfed a lot already since they have infantry move but get stopped by terrain, why not nerf them more?

Hand axe and Javelin no longer grant WEXP

Roy dying is no longer a game over condition, you have to reset manually.

is kodachi also going to be included in that as well? since thats the ranged sword equivalent to hand axes/javelins

Yes. All 1-2 range of usually 1 range.

also just so you know 1-2 range doesnt exist for the player anymore outside of the light brand since one of my earlier edits made kodachi, hand axe, and javelin 2-3 range instead

light brand isnt included since you only get 1 of it, and runesword/wakizashi/spear/tomahawk are all enemy only so they can stay 1-2 range
