Good catch, fix will be available in 1 min (literally)
Turns out the exact same thing happens again later, still in that section. Same error on the same status.
OK, it should be fixed for real for real this time in the next update. Sorry about that.
Ok time to start again
I remember playing this back from the beta and had a pretty good time. LT stuff in general is cool but barred by inability to play on a mobile device.
Hello, I have another bug report
Floor 50 bug
The game crashes when trying to start gameplay, immediately after Hardman gets Sights Locked. It doesn’t look like anyone else encountered/reported this, so here is the log file and saves folder:
debug.2024-07-14_20.39.58.626174.log - Google Drive
saves (1).zip - Google Drive
This bug was already reported/fixed, you should be able to port your saves to the latest current version and it’ll run. I tested it just now.
Ok, sorry about that, and thank you.
Hello everyone, if you’ve played through at least the in medias res prologue chapter of Server 72 (or, uh, didn’t), I have a quick poll which I would be most grateful if y’all filled out.
- Beat without help, read unit intro text and used in-game recommended moves.
- Beat without help, solved myself w/o reading unit intro text.
- Beat with help, was given hint to read unit intro text.
- Beat with help, was given moves to make by other player.
- Filtered.
Hello idk if this is a my end issue but i got the download to work on pc and would really like to take this to play anywhere, the dowbload files dont work on android
(Also i would be very appreciative if someone gave a little step by step on what moves to do to pass prolouge
Yeah the android version is pretty scuffed, it’s basically a joke that only works on my phone. If you need help with the prologue, simply use the moves that the prologue tells you to use.
Ive been doing advantage strike on wyvern lord and battle roar + raise gaurd on dragon
Ignore the wyvern lord do that combo but roar on the wyvern then keep GGWP out of range of the dragon then use spot dodge astra on dragon
Alright after just trying over and over again a download finally went through on my phone, is therr anyway to get save files to work lol
Ok gave up playing normally around floor 8 this time. The boss moves way too quickly, and the team literally cannot move fast enough to get to any cover at all… assuming that cover actually exist once the boss gets past the stairs.
While others have stopped to simply beat the boss (which is apparently easier?), testing was done with the strat of just running fast enough to not ever engage the boss (probably sacrificing one party member at the end), so I can confirm both strats work.
More frustration at lvl10: 60-70% hit rate against the boss with onesideness debuff, priests on pillars + shamans that also take several turns to crack open, and I gotta beat the priests+shamans first because the hitrates mean I will not defeat the boss in 1 turn. The reinforcement once again moves quickly and gives me 1-2 turns at most.
Again, this seems to be a common theme that repeatedly occurs throughout the game: Low unit count + extremely tight timing that requires that every action counts + 1RN to make sure every plan relying on even 90% hitrate atks have a high chance to fail.
Currently playing this and it is a hard game IMO. While some floors you can clear pretty easily, several require a lot pf planning, including what you bring in your inventories, stat investment to reach certain benchmarks and even starting positions, not to mention the decisions you have to make while playing the map itself. This means you might have to do several retries. This gets better as you get further into the game since you have more tools and skills to approach problems from different angles.
Regarding some recommendations (stuff that has worked for me, your mileage may vary), you have to treat this very differently from the usual Fire Emblem: most of your characters can not take more than one hit, and you definitely can’t solo any map. Accesories that give +HIT seem like a must for me, since as you mention a single miss can turn an encounter around. You have no idea how much easier my life became once I gave all my DPS some Accuracy Lens and, afterwards, Bood Drops. You can fix your damage by buying Str or Mag, it is much more efficient than buying Skill to boost your hit.
In map 10, the first reinforcement you can easily stop with Mire from Philo while everyone else kills it. The second one you can’t give any status ailments, so you do have to run from it. Use effective weapons (you have Pike for cavaliers, abuse it!). The shamans and Priests don’t move, so you really only have to kill 1 of each (as long as you one round the boss, as otherwise the other priest will heal it; might wanna kill both if you have the time. I didn’t), and they should fall pretty easily in a single round if you stat and play correctly (remember that Osmose not only gives MP back to Loonie, but also boosts damage. Hardman can hit from 3 range and not be countered by them. Make sure everyone has at least 4 more speed than them so you can double).
I honestly don’t remember what weapons and items you have available at that point in the game, so I can’t give you more advice. But if you really aren’t enjoying having to repeat a map until you find the right strategy to crack it, this might not be your game. I personally love the Puzzle Emblem gameplay, and have a lot of fun with the banter between the characters, so I hope you get to enjoy it too. Happy gaming!
Hi! Here to report a crash I haven’t seen anyone mention. I used Loonie’s Conversion on a Revenant on floor 50, and when I used Devote (with animations on) to give her 2 mana, the game got stuck when it “hit” her in the combat animation.
Can’t upload my save files since I only have mobile data and that folder is way too big for that, I’ll comment again if I’m able to share them.
