Including Fog of War in the prep screen?

Hi. I’m trying to include Fog of War during the prep screen but it seems like you need to do something outside of the events?
I’ve put VCBF 3 in various places around my event that ends in ENDB but nothing seems to be making the prep screen have fog in it.

Use the “fog of war view distance” thing in the Chapter Data Editor iırc.

Changing the vision distance in the chapter data will also put fog in the intro scene.
If you don’t want your intro scene to start with fog, put a VCWF/VCBF 0 near the beginning to clear the fog then use another VCWF/VCBF when the fog-inducing plot device kicks in. That’s how chapters 19xx and 28 handle fog during their intros.
