If Advance Wars characters were in Fire Emblem, what class would they be?

Ok

I know this is really weird, but hear me out
Advance Wars and Fire Emblem are like ‘rivals’ since they have similar, if not the same genre (Strategic Turn-Based RPG), but they have different fashion

And I’ve stumbled upon these portraits made by ZessDynamite and Garytop, in my opinion, it’s kinda cool, but I have this idea bugging me lately
What class would Advance Wars characters would be? (also don’t forget days of ruin)

My opinion is that:
Sami: Archer/Sniper
Max: Fighter/Warrior
Grit: Sniper
Eagle: Wyvern/Dragon Rider
Jess: Paladin
Kanbei: Swordmaster
Sonja: Mage
Flak: Brigand
Lash: Shaman
Hawke: Sage
Sturm: Baron (from FE5)

Most of these I can get with like Eagle and Jess. But the other one I think they can some other classes:
Sami: Solider/Halbirder (Infantry specialist)
Max: Berserker or Hero (bows don’t make sense on Max)
Kanbei: Master of Arms (feels like he know every type of weaponry)
Sonja: Tactician/grandmaster (kinda there whole character)
Lash: Summoner (they do create stuff like the neo tank, etc)
Hawk: Dread Fighter (kinda fits how he perceived, and how talented he is)
Strum Advance war 1: Conqueror (his whole goal no?)
Strum Advance War 2: Dark Druid (World domination is now last on his list, plus how else you think he summons those meteors)

Of course these ideas are subjective and are just my opinion like everyone else’s here so please feel free to critique.

Sonja should be thief because of increased fog vision

No doubt. But I feel like the other Fog Specialist fits that role better, since it’s more akin to her personality.

Then make Sonja Rogue and Lin Assassin

Classes for other characters:
12th Battalion:

Brenner: Hero (“I can feel the sun, it’s warm” you went strong my king”)

Will: TrueBlade (Melee weapons are barely mentioned, but Will is the devoted type, and fits with his character development)

Lin: Assassin/Rogue (They see further, and she steals away Greyfields left away, so it fits)

Isabella: Dancer/Druid (always felt like a mixture of Sophia, and Nino; Dancer represents her positive nature; and Druid represents her busted powers from being a clone.

New Rubinelle Army:

Waylon: Wyvern Knight (“What’s wrong brother man can’t get pass my defences” would definitely have the Glephi shield, and a 100% in both Def, and Res)

Davis: Merchant/Mechanist (We don’t see much, but his fit works with both classes more with mechanist though)

Greyfield: Baron (SoV version) (one of the many video game versions of that Austrian fellow most know throughout the 1940s, his final chapter is fun)

Intelligence Defense System (very fun reference)

Penny: Witch (Fate version) (Very, very far stretch but honestly they are kinda lost so can mean something yea?)

Tabitha: Sentinel (game mentions there impressive reflexes, and there play style is all about one destructive force)

Cyrus: Bard (Same as Dave not much to go off, but respect to the writing for this guy.”)

Caulder: Cantor (Bro may not be the first, and he may be the last; he still a pain in the ass. One of the greater final chapters in any video game for me)

Lazruian Army:

Gage: Sniper (Pretty basic, none of the other bow classes fit in my opinion)

Tasha: Wyvern Lord (“For John!”)

Forsyth: Ranger (Great chapter, great fit, great short lived character; Man first, commander second)

The Raiders:

The Beast: Berserker (Bro goes Ferral at the end, while not as impactful still had a good story line)

Nice
And what about Dual Strike?

Edit: You forgot Adder

I feel like Tasha shoud be Pegasus Knight or Falcon Knight, as in my hc that Lazuria is a house of cavaliers in this version (and yeah, pegasus are flying horses)

Honestly yea that dosa makes logical sense with how prestigious, and noble the army was. But I didn’t consider Pegasus because Tasha whole play style is aggressive Air Force; now Waylon on the other hand I can see easily being a Pegasus Knight, because of defensive he is, using flanks and backline movement.

Also Adder probably Just a basic Halbirder.

So… no Dual Strike characters?

Shoot your right.
Jugger: Armor Knight → General (Very Basic, robotic, etc).
Koal: Sword Master (Design, and dialogue helps this choice),.
Kindle: Sage (Very potent Prescence, and plus who says her words aren’t magic)?
Jake: Nomad (Or Outlaw)–> Adventurer (Or Nomad Rng.) (Yo Bro, ready to get the turf down on this beat down?! Nothing beats the plains Yo!).
Rachel: Lyn Lord (Could think of nothing else).
Sasha: Merchant (Economy be damned).
Javiar: Hero (Mate good at rallying, and is a true gentleman. A true hero of the people).
Grimm: Berserker (Known as Lighting strike Grimm for a reason).
Bon Volt: Dark Druid (Could think of nothing else).
