How can I edit ch.1 opening FE8?

So, u know how Tana and some other guy comes in at the start of the chapter. How do u get rid of that or like edited it.

Moulder and Vanessa are spawned in chapter 0x38 “Frelia Castle”, not chapter 1 or chapter 2. If you want to edit their classes and/or starting inventories, check Frelia Castle.

Alternatively, if you’re referring to the chapter start event, that can be edited or removed either by direct code manipulation (which I unfortunately can’t help with) or by ROM editing software (I’m only experienced in FEBuilderGBA). If you’re using FEBuilder, @ me and I’ll see if I can send some screenshots.
