Uh, hi there i’m here with kinda of an update on this project to the idk 3 people that seemed interested in this, most of what i did until now was maps and some events, ones wich ive taken i little longer than expected to finish because i got distracted anyway.
Due to how big genealogy maps are and how little the limit in FEBuilder is, i am having to split apart a lot of the maps and even have to let out some events that would not fit in the map.
In general is just that really that i have to show, i’ve changed weapon durability and some terrain avoid, im also was wanting to know how to make a repair system work like a place that you go and can spend money just like genealogy, that also gets me in the position of having to cut things that can’t be made in the hack, as i am just a novice and most of what i know to make i’ve learned in like 2 weeks and it was not even in this hack, i was making one before this to learn the basics but either way, there’s so many things that i have to think about how im going to make it like Edain and Dew there’s no space for the second Verdane castle, so like i have to be creative with it, the more i think about how i’m going to make this events the more it frightens me but also makes me intriged, like how “i’m going to do the meteor scene!?” this types of questions that make me look about and learn, its pretty cool.
Anyways much of this project for now is just me doing major part of the work while i consult a friend for balance changes and some shit like that, so there’s a lot of place holders for characters, i also would like to know if there’s any way to make some repair system, of course for a guy that has no experience in programing :V

yea like i dont even have an excuse i just forgot completely about this project, i will still keep it going, i just need to be more focused on it, in general it was just college and some life issuies and shit like that.
In case no one remembers i am the guy that was trying to make FE4 on FE8, doing what i can without programing but some things will be impossible without it. I will go around the forum and look at some things that may help in the project, guess i see yall in the next post.
I’m trying to post the image but it won’t let me. what i have in the moment is some events and until now is only prologue and chapter 1 maps, both separated in two and a bunch of changes in stats and itens, i’m focusing on the basics first.
Still can’t post media but whatever, i’ve been doing the maps from Chapter 2 Crisis in Agustria, i divided the chapter into 4 due to size right now i have 2 from 4 completed. I really need to be more focused on the project, either way i want to atleast finish the maps before november so i guess i will be a more active on it.
started working on Dance in the skies, making rough maps for now, wasting to much time on details in the start, i also been recording most of the map editing maybe i will make a timelapse of it in the future

Hey there fellas, sorry for not being active with the hack, i kinda had lost the fuel to work on it for sometime, that and i forgoting about it, either way it was a rushed month, my goal in the moment is to have by the end of the year the game fully playable, nothing to much fancy at least, i am sorry for keeping you 3 people that expect something from me, without any news on the project.

Hello there, what are you guys take on magic effectiveness? things like the fire and thunder effectiveness on Telius wich deal more damage against beasts and dragon/wyvern, do you think something like that would be good on genealogy or would be bad gameplay wise?, for me fire being effective against cav units is somehow nice in a narrative perspective, but tell me what you guys think in general.
Anyway, i will release the hack on 24th~25th this month, and probably be on a somewhat long break until i guess next year only, this “Demo”? i think, will be the full first gen.

It was true, due to issues with things totally unrelated to the hack, it still has a lot of problems that i dont have time to solve and shit like that, sorry if it sounds like im lying and that im just slothful, i just dont have the time anymore to work on it, i guess the next update will be next year maybe, or when i get more stable with my life, forgive my incompetence.

Hello friends, im alive, i may try again doing this in the future but right now i dont think i can handle something so big, i never had a plan and i was chewing more than i could gulp i think thats the saying?? anyways
I will try doing something in the future for myself, try planning it right, trying to not get myself burned out, im still very unexperienced with the program and im more of a artist girl so i was always focusing more on making a pretty map instead of a playable one, shesh im just yapping, anyways i may try do something genealogy related in the future but like actually trying to add stuff instead of just an 1 to 1 of the whole game.
