Forcing Promotions on Enemy units

Hi, i started making my own romhack 2 weeks ago, im using FEbuilder, i have watched several tutorials and gathered plenty of information, but im having trouble forcing the promotion on a enemy unit, my objective is to make an enemy boss promote at the beggining of the chapter, like Wallace do on FE7, the unit promotes correctly, but after the promotion the screen glitches and all the tiles go crazy, sometimes screen gets black, and units become invisible, only to appear when the cursor its over them, i guess i have to introduce some event that make the screen go back to the map but i dont know how to do it properly, i find 2 or 3 topics about something like this, but are too old, and the explanation is on code languaje or something.

I dont mean the unit to start on his promoted form, cause i want him to promote like he is boosting himself and increasing his might.

Seems to be okay if you do a ‘FADU’, then ‘CLEAN’.

Only now am I thinking that fading in with FADI, and then CLEAN and then FADU might work better, dunno! These fades confuse me, hah. Good luck.

I try it with the FADI only and the Clean and it worked perfectly, really aprecciate it thanksss

Oh man, I had this idea but never actually did it. “An enemy boss anxiously anticipating the protagonist’s arrival throughout the map, then when they get close, they use a promotion item as last-ditch effort.”
I wondered if anyone else thought about something similar. Good to see someone did. Good luck with that!

I think ive heard of one where if you dont reach them in X amount of turns, they “promote” to a mounted class
