I am uploading the beta version for 2 reasons
.Due to last minute work i was not able to test it so i wanted otemphasized texthers to try it and let me know the response
. If i played the game and liked it it would have been my own preference so i wanted everyone’s preference to make the game better

Alright I guess I’ll try it out, although i would suggest posting some screenshots to capture people’s interest.
Edit: I can’t even play the very first chapter lol. after the dialogue it just completely glitches out. I suppose that’s the downside of not testing beforehand. although at least now you know.
I think the first step might be a cogent title - “The legend Mercenaries” doesn’t make any sense. Is it supposed to be The Legendary Mercenaries? The Legend of Mercenaries? Or is it an entry in your Fire Emblem fangame series The Legend, subtitled “Mercenaries”? I’m not trying to make fun of you, the title is literally the first thing anyone ever knows about your project, so I would say it’s important to get right.
Yes first i chose different name but then chose this name and i knew this name sounded familiar but i forgot where now only after u mention it i realize it was used in TLP
It may have been just an emulator issue on my part, im using it on something else now and i’m able to play. So far on the first chapter nothing besides the fact that i can’t get into any of the villages seems to be wrong. I’m going to sleep soon but i may test more in the morning.
I would also suggest going back at some point to touch up on the grammar and punctuation of the dialogue at some point to make it feel more polished and desirable to play. If English isn’t your first language or you just have a problem with that sort of thing you could probably get something to help you.
There is an old, famous hack called The Last Promise. One of the three protagonists of that hack’s story, Kelik, is the leader of a group of mercenaries. That group is called The Legend Mercenaries. I was just making a joke about how your hack’s name is the same as Kelik’s mercenary group. Which is perfectly fine, of course, but for a moment I wondered if this was some kind of The Last Promise spin off
I had played the last promise sir i had originally planned for a diff name for the team but then this name came into my mind i completely forgot the name was from that old game
It bugs on Vba (which can run virtually ever fe hack). You should do a test run of the game before you upload it, and if the patch needs a specific base rom or emulator you should mention that.
