Will the game be completed?? i remember trying to play this 3 times and gettin game breaking bugs 3 times.
Can this be completed from begin to end now??

On my last playtrough (about four months ago) I managed to reach the ending without anything drastic happening (like the game crashing or the game softlocking) but I didn’t play the gaidens. I’ll try to fix the bugs. Btw, which bugs have you encountered? Maybe I fixed them in the last patch.

I think it was 1 of the main lord completely disappearing from chapters and other gamelocking bugs but i honestly cant remember anymore since that was awhile ago.

Ill try this hack after the next update and give feedback later when finished.

I’ll be remaking chapter 2-3. What are the chapters you liked the least? I’ll be working on them.

After some thinking I decided to restructure the game plot. I will change some chapters and make sure to not force the player to send away their units. Chapter 1-7x will be completely different and 1-8x also. Sadly I’ll have to remove some units, as I think that th eplayer will enough more than enough to complete the game. I’m also tweaking some stats, weapons and abilities.

Version 1.74

I’m not done yet, I’m only writing here the upcoming stuff before I forget it.
-Chapter 1-7x has been overhauled. Now Nilo and Nila and co can fight Zigrinat’s gang
with the help of Roberto The Golden Longbow to gain an extra buck. Enemies and
positions have been reworked.
-Vetusio, Julianus, Rigaldon, Guildebrand, Cheyenne, have been removed.
I never cared too much for these characters and I think the player will have plenty of
units to use. Ivo, Zurayu are no longer playable but can be seen and interacted with.
-Pegasi riders promote to falcoknight without branching. This is their canon promo and I didn’t wanna add more classes.
-Nephalim can promote to Deva or Harrier, the first uses Light the second Dark, no phisical weapons.
-If you choose to spare Wolfgang, you won’t be able to recruti Reidun.
-William starts at Level 19 with an Orion’s bolt.
-Chapter 2-3 map has been redesigned.
-Increase amount of droppable weapons in the first part of the game.
-Forts give 4 def, pillars, forest, mountains and peaks +1 def, thrones -10 avoid
-Added a new unit, Talos the wight, recruited at the end of chapter 4-2x, disappears on chapter 4-9.
-Derma replaces Cheyenne, a bishop with Dark magic and the summon ability.
-Ferdinand joins on chapter 1-8 as a paladin with all phisical weapons.
-Roberto joins on chapter 4-8 if Lotario is defeated
-Reworked a special convo with Irma to Zurayu on chapter 1-5
-Added more music
-Added more portraits
-Fixed some portraits
-Zediong can be recruited with many more people
-Minar, Malitia, Lili, Paolus, Zomu, Piero, Bastiano and Fausta can be auto-leveled to lvl 15 if entering chapter 3-2xx, even if it’s unlikely for the player to not use them, since the gaiden requires these units to be alive to enter it.
-Merachea -2 str, +1 mag, +1 spd
-Marcello’s prf now always activates Astra, removed skill bonus, +3 might to weapon
-Reworked some dialogue
-Removed some enemy reinforcements and put them into Hard mode. If the player chooses Normal difficulty, he won’t encounter these reinforcements.
-Fixed some bugs with the spell anims.
-Tom is now a female figther and the sister of Tim, with new stat caps on her classes.
-Chapter 1-8x has been removed, it’s now a cutscene.
-Rally skills can be learned on a special chapter but they don’t come automatically with the units.
-Ragnarok and Mjolnir give as skill Ignis and Impale, which always activate but with a lessened effect. Ignis add unit def+res/4 and Impale doubles damage.
-Leadership Stars provide +3 hit/avoid, usually major characters have 1 or 2 stars, while bosses 2 or 3. The final bosses have 5, but you’ll get about 12 characters who have at least 1 star.
-Reworked the skill of many units, in particular Nilo and Nilo.
-Removed many skills from the enemies, this way the cognitive load will be lessened.
In particular, only archers, snipers, swordmasters and ballisticians have more than 1 skill.
The others either have shove or canto+.
-Removed fog at the end event of chapter 1-5.
-Put the correct convo at the end of chapter 1-3xx.
-Reworked the enemy placement of 1-8 and 2-3.
-Xp gain base formula goes from 24 to 31.
-There will be more foes on hard mode (about 20% more)
-Nila gets the Steal skill.
-The reward to complete 1-8 will be an energy ring, plus all the xp.
I suggest to not take away Roberto’s bows, unless
you wanna keep Lotario later.
-Added another visitable house in 1-8.

NOTES:
William ability doesn’t work correctly, I’ll try to fix it later.
Reidun will have luna for some reasons. I think that I’ve hit the rom max space, so it
glitches a bit with the skill sys. But I don’t mind Reidun having another skill.
In fact, I think it kinda fits him, due to the fact that he’s the leader of the wyvern brigade.
Furthermore, he’s an optional character to the end of the game, I don’t think
that giving him Luna will do much of a difference.
TODO:
fix portraits, some talk convos, modify music of talk gaidens. Fix pegasi portraits (again, they display the wrong shadows)

So i gotta say I have been here since like the first release of this and I am lowkey proud of all the work you have put into this hack. You took the critics and listened an went back to the drawing board, and you can just tell the amount of work you are doing the clean it all up. Now that being said I stopped at V1.68 because I saw all the changes happening. Should I just keep playing or is it worth a restart? I don’t plan on going back until there is a complete banner back.

I plan to do 2 more Versions, the V1.76 should be the final one. I plan to finish this for good before November. Of course there may be some more bugs that will happen and I’ll (try) to fix them, but most of the work will be done. Now, V 1.74 is ready. I need to polish some more things and to finish the portraits and the story. Thank you for your kind words.

I need someone who wants to reviews the story (once it’s completed of course).
I wanna improve my little writing skills, and grammar. I already have two people reading it, but I would like more to join the group. Chat me in private if you feel like it.

Here’s my records for the first part (Hard mode), I wrote the turn on a sheet everytime I completed a chapter.
If you can manage to do better than me, I shall congratulate you.
These turns can be used an indication for how long a chapter shoud last on average.
All of them (except first) have an anti-turtle, but I think that if you are playing on normal mode,
as you should for the first time, you would have plenty of time to do anything you need.

Found out a serious bug in chapter 2-5, I’ll try to fix it ASAP.

Tomorrow new patch, it will contain.

-Substituted Bastiano personal skill with assassinate. It was buggy.
-Fixed a door not working on 2-3
-Fixed a screeching bug at the end of 2-5
-Took away some droppables in the second part
-Fixed an issue with dialogue in 2-3
-Fixed the end event of 2-F
-Added a few reinfocements in 2-1 (hard mode only)
-on 2-1, the enemies in the lower corner are less aggressive (they don’t charge at you unlees too near)
-Fixed an issue with some characters disappearing in the second part of the game
-Callaghan, Miranda, Zomu start at lvl 12, with stat adjustment.
-Tirana starts at lvl 16 and her skill always crit on magical foes.
