first things first: the following material is free to use/edit, although giving credit is always appreciated.
this goes for all the stuff i worked on, with few exceptions in case there’s other artists included in the artworks.
most of these are mainly edits, as i’m not really into creating sprites from zero( at least not always ), however i always try to represent the artworks in the most polished way possible, so it’s not exactly amateur work either.

to be honest, it’s been a while since i’ve been inspired this much. i guess checking out other sprites around here must have had some positive effect.
anyway, here’s my take on a Dragoon from Final Fantasy XIV:

even though i totally love the Artifact version from Heavensward, wich in my opinion is the most badass armor design ever made, that’s actually kinda hard to replicate since it has triple the details compared to the classic version of the outfit( and even here i’ve been holding back quite a bit on some details ).
in any case, even the original design has its own charm, so it’s been quite fun working on it.

anyway, since i’m on a roll, here’s yet another knight related to Final Fantasy spinoffs, Alternis Dim from Bravely Default:

…back to Gundam again. this time, it’s all about Barbatos:

gotta say, it took me a while to polish all the little details of this big guy, but in the end i’m pretty satisfied with the final result, almost as working on a gunpla build
also kept a lineart version of the portrait in case someone else wants to mess around with it. would be interesting to see what other artists can do:

now that i think about it, i wonder if there’s any other mecha fans around here. beside few exceptions, all i’ve seen so far were mostly sprites about FE

to be honest, it would be pretty cool if we had a dedicated topic for mechs such as Gundam, Armored Core and the likes in terms of sprites on FEU. i know there’s tons of rips out there about SRW stuff, but it’s always nice to see fresh and custom stuff from other spriters.

Having a dedicated topic for Mecha is so good to have and it would be very unique to use in the long run. This anyone can make a FE ROM hack involving those sprites would be a match in heaven.

thanks, i like to work on different subjects that range from medieval fantasy themes to sci-fi as you can see, although i do mostly pixel art portraits since i have more freedom with colors.
not that i don’t like working on mugs and similar stuff, it’s just that being limited to 16 colors for the GBA format kinda sucks at times

yep, that would be really nice, but from what i’ve seen there’s not many artists around here that are into mecha.
actually, making a FE ROM hack with mechs is very possible if you use sprite rips from SRW titles.
you would have to just edit the animations in order to fit the files in the system. not sure if they also have portraits for each mech though, but that can be worked on as well. some mini mugs also already exist in other GBA Gundam games.

and that’s my take on Jehuty from the first Zone of the Enders.
ZOE along with its sequel “the 2nd Runner” were among the best action games back in the PS2 era, they were and still are fun as hell.
since then, i haven’t found any other mecha game with a combat gameplay so fluid and dynamic.
also, guess i’ll just leave the lineart version here as well, for the sake of it( this is slowly becoming a trend ).

this is actually from a very old project of mine that i never managed to develop due to me being too lazy to actually learn romhacking, so i finally decided to give him a full and proper mug in order to bring him here and give him some spotlight once more.
he was meant to be the main lord of the game, but i guess he could work well as a mercenary too.

more will follow, eventually~

she was meant to be a secondary lord, although she could pretty much cover any class going from mercenaries to knights of all sorts.
